Theology Talk

This week, Dr. Joel mentions the narrative of the story of Joshua. What happens in this story is like a great adventure in which God guides Joshua with the purpose of reclaiming the land of Canaan. God sends them on a military responsibility.

The Book of Joshua gives the sense that God calls his people to full obedience. But there is a danger lurking in these lands, who are the gods of the nations.

Entering the book of Joshua we also see that the book of Jasher is mentioned, but what is the book of Jasher? Finally, we see in the New Testament a story in the Book of Luke that deals with a Pharisee from the religious elite and a woman who considers herself a sinner.

In this episode, I explain the lineage of Goliath's family, its origins, and history. The Nephilim are also an important topic here, as they were powerful, mighty, and famous. The Nephilim were giant, semi-divine beings who caused chaos in the world. I also explain who the New Testament demons really were and their relationship with the Nephilim.

This week, Dr. Joel analyzes Deuteronomy 32. Which may be one of those crucial Old Testament verses that is unfortunately often overlooked and misinterpreted. There are also certain passages whose translations are imprecise and may even contain some errors. Deuteronomy 32 is so important because it actually sets the stage for Joshua's conquest to enter and occupy the Promised Land. Part of the occupation involves dealing with the false gods of the nations in order to handle the Nephilim. 📕 Dr. Joel's Bible Study: https://a.co/d/2LR3QAp 📕 House of David: A Theologian's Analysis: Introduction and Cosmic Geography: bit.ly/42bHNoi 📕Jude 9: Dispute Over Moses’ Body (Part 1): https://surl.li/mhqxpp 📕Jude 9: Dispute Over Moses' Body (Part 2): https://surli.cc/wizycv

In this video Dr. Joel explains to us the scene where Jesus enters the synagogue and begins to read the scroll of Isaiah.

We find the good news, liberation of the captives, freedom from the slavery of sin, the right to see Jesus as ruler of the earth and free the oppressed.

There are certain words in our context and society that have lost their meaning and reverence, and I believe the cross is one of those things.

The cross of Christ has been commercialized to a point where it is more fashionable to wear a cross than to live the type of life the cross demands.

Why does cosmic geography matter in David’s story—and in the entire biblical narrative?

From Genesis 11, where the people gathered on the plains of Shinar to build a tower, to Israel’s key battles, the Bible shows that ancient people believed geography was deeply tied to supernatural realities. Mountains, for example, were seen as sacred meeting places between God and humanity.

But how does this shape our understanding of David’s mission? And how is he continuing what Joshua started?

In the book of Numbers chapter 19 we have the presence of the red heifer. We see that the red heifer has significant biblical importance, because it was used for purification rituals. But, what does this have to do with the modern day implications?

Dr. Joel will be starting a limited series on The House of David, which will cover different episodes of the program. The series will analyze whether its facts align with biblical stories or if they are merely speculative or fictitious

In this first part, Dr. Joel tells us about David's process when he wants to recover the territory that God had given them. He also explains about the subject of the giants, where they come from and how tall they were. And finally he tries to analyze the speculations that there are about David's mother.

In this week's video, Dr. Joel explains some important topics. One point he touches on is why the anointing took place when Moses finished assembling the Tabernacle. Anointing with oil was an act rich with meaning and is further developed in the New Testament. He also explains how the Lord speaks to Moses from above the mercy seat.

What this teaches us is that when God speaks to us, He speaks as a merciful King. What did Jesus do for us?

It is on the cross that He extends the greatest amount of mercy and compassion, making it possible for all who repent of their sins to turn to Him. The cross is God speaking to us from that place of mercy.

This week Dr. Joel works through the unclean spirits in the New Testament. You may be surprised to find out, they are NOT the fallen angels of the Old Testament.  📕 Order Dr. Joel's Book, "The Hidden Peace: Finding True Security, Strength, and Confidence Through Humility" - https://bit.ly/muddamalleresources📕 Dr. Joel uses the Christian Standard Bible.
