In this chapter I offer you some support to release fear around what you desire! First get familiar with that idea - what you want you also fear! I begin by addressing the current period astrologically, which is potent for releasing negative emotions rather than unconsciously acting them out. Manifestation during an eclipse can be viewed from different perspectives, but I always recommend resting in what you want to manifest. The challenge arises when you secretly fear that which you desire! Like, do you subconsciously fear having the partner, getting the job or stepping into your own power?
I will guide you through the steps of this fear release technique, and I also encourage you to continue working with it at your own pace afterward. The steps are as follows:
Beautiful, thank you for working with me, and apologies for the unknown source to this technique, it was taught to me at trauma therapy school that is now closed, but I do have handouts and notes so it is not purely by memory.

Matthew Obst is an incredible shaman who channels different kinds of spirits. He helps seekers with questions about their life path, and I absolutely love how he engages in important spiritual work without bringing it on social media -- you have to email him, love that. His vibe is beautiful, and I hope you will experience his words like a piece of music. Tune in as we discuss:
- Why and when it’s relevant to heal the ancestors through shamanic work - Why we are here in the first place - Non-dual reality - Observing everything in your life and simply being aware of it - The fortune in the wounds and the good news when everything crashes - Pure consciousness and how it relates to deep sleep - The space between thoughts and words – your effortless self - Purifying your mind - Meditation beyond just sitting - Bringing joy into whatever you do - Remaining present - How can you separate the fragrance of the flower from the flower itself?
We talk about doing a meditation but in fact this whole talk is a meditation about the underlying reality, so tap in and let me know what you think.

Trash Can Therapist? No, thank you! But with Pluto in Scorpio conjunct my South Node and trine to my Sun in the eighth house, I have plenty of experience treating myself that way. Now, however, I’ve stepped into the greater potential of a therapist though—present/intense and ready for the deep dive. In this chapter, you’ll hear me talk about a critical learning moment that changed everything in how I work with people. Learning a specific way of listening was a game changer. The NARM method, developed by Dr. Laurence Heller, is something I now use, and here is my humble attempt to outline the core of the model. TAP in with me, Mannah, and you’ll hear:
-What made me *not* want to be a therapist! - What totally made me *want* to be a therapist! - How I discovered NARM for complex trauma while looking for a 4-5 year psychotherapy program (which NARM isn’t, but hey, it came up on Google!) - Attracting what you desire - Spiritual teachers who say you don’t need therapy anymore?!?!? - The difference between social work and therapeutic healing work - Listening to clients’ complaints without absorbing them, but instead, latching onto the essence—using that neurodivergent superhero power! :) - Increasing capacity for connection - Becoming an expert in your own internal world
- Emotional completion and receiving the message in the emotions - Shutting down emotions and not knowing what you feel because someone taught you emotions weren’t productive or valid - Fighting yourself creates internal conflict or self-sabotage - Increasing the capacity for connection by integrating emotions - Adaptations that become identity: psychobiological patterns - How this approach aligns with astrology - How to heal through embodied adult consciousness
MUCH LOVE

Meet Noel Eastwood who is fully immersed in his 8th house energies in the most positive insightful way. Noel Eastwood is an Australian astrologer who writes about Psychological Astrology, tarot, Taoist alchemy, meditation, astral travel, and Jungian psychotherapy. Join us as we delve into some of his (and my) passions, such as identifying psychological challenges in the birth chart and using astrology and tarot as tools for our universal healing journey. Psychological astrology is incredibly helpful in the process of healing, and healing and regeneration is what it’s all about for me.
The chart we interpret as an example is for September 2nd/3rd, 2024, just as we approach the New Moon in Virgo. Here are some of the themes we discuss in this chapter of TAP:
- Practicing astrology as a psychologist - Experiencing out-of-body states during sleep - Remembering the biopsychosocial model to respect the limits of what we can and cannot discern from a chart - Jamming with Pluto and the 8th house - Identifying stress in a chart through conflicting aspects - Understanding tension-release dynamics and stress management in relation to transits - How a therapist might advise a client when the chart suggests they would thrive in a world without obligations and deadlines!?! - Distinguishing between what is within your control and what is not - The Inner Dragon/ Demon – this topic comes up at the end of our conversation, and I encourage you to stay tuned for it! It is very plutonian conversation, in the sense that we are talking about tools and times to turn your life around.

Maurice Fernandez is a leading figure in evolutionary astrology, and his work has been a significant personal influence on me as an astrologer. I'm thrilled to bring you this interview with Maurice Fernandez - At the time of this recording, we had just spent five intense days together in Sedona. Despite a packed schedule, we took time for this conversation, because I really want to share just a bite of his approach and personality with you. Same day, we had been hiking, swimming, practicing yoga, and analyzed charts in a group setting for five hours—Maurice, of course, was still going strong, as you will hear.
We talk about:
-The significance of Neptune in Pisces and how it reflects your relationship to fate - What the final degrees of Neptune in Pisces mean as we navigate through them now-What Maurice has learned since he wrote the book on Neptune and the 7 stages - The already begun and upcoming impact of Pluto in Aquarius
We also discuss why astrology isn’t something that can simply be paid for with the entitled attitude of demanding realisations. The point here is how sacred astrology is, and therefor it cannot be thought of as a consumer good.
As a graduate of Maurice's school, I continue to study with him because he is both an exceptional teacher and a great man. His school is more than 20 years old by the way and he is the author of two wonderful and deep astrology books with lots more to come. You can find his work with writings and consultations and teachings here:

MUST HEAR for Therapeutic Astrologers!! I am most honored to be with astrologer, author, and teacher Mark Jones in this chapter of TAP. We talk about combining therapy and astrology (of course!!) and we go into topics such as:
-Not leaving astrology to spacy intuition
-People embodying collective historical importance
-Has Astrology shaped psychology?
-Chart reading as an organic proces with listening for the clients real lives
- Dane Rudhyar and Jeffrey Wolf Green
- Materialist scientific culture blocking astrological healing work
-The levels of energy fields, both collective and individual.
- Those who are catalysts of collective evolution
- The narrow focus on medication, which often overlooks the deeper meanings behind symptoms.
Mark shares an example of a physiotherapist who was ridiculed for linking back pain to stress. In therapeutic astrology, we strive for a deeper understanding of what causes psychological problems and include soul memory as we help clients heal. Mark also mentions his interpretation of Uranus as the non-linear mind where traumatic memory can be held. The south node of Uranus then relates to the origin of that trauma as well as the person's attempts to individuate.
I titled this episode after his most recent book (The Planetary Nodes and Collective Evolution) and the segment in the book we discuss mostly: Depth Psychology and Science
I hope you loved this podcast episode - let me know if you have comments or questions - send me an old school email as I am detoxifying myself from social media - [email protected]

This is a must-hear! David Kirk-Campbell, born in 1942, developed the technique Touching Dialogue in the 1980s, so the dialogue has been going on for a while. In this episode he shares how he works to create safety for the unconscious- David Kirk-Campbell has been in Rolfing for 50 years, he is a Psychotherapist and he developed a method to combine the conversational therapy and the knowledge from body-work. Listen if you want to hear about how the body’s cells sense touch and transform the contraction to openness - the no to a yes. His description of communicating with the cell membranes and transforming them from contraction to expansion/openness has been scientifically validated and confirmed in a book first published in 2005 by Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. with the title The Biology of Belief.
I feel David is speaking to heart —about topics and in ways that my soul deeply recognizes. What about you? Let me know what you felt as we talk about themes such as:
