S2:E7 Working with Multi-Cultural Populations With Therapy Dogs (Guest: Noémie Rigaud)
Today Sam and Max chat with Noémie Rigaud, who used to work as a migration and human rights lawyer in France before she moved to Australia and became a full-time Mental Health Social Worker, both in private practice and at the Queensland Program of Assistance to Survival of Torture and Trauma.
You'll hear about how Tango, her therapy dog, was introduced to a very multi-cultural and diverse workplace and the careful planning that was done to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Noémie and Tango did their therapy dog training through us which is how we have been able to have this conversation today.
Strap yourselves in for an insightful episode.
