My friend and former fellow blogger Conner Penfold joins me to talk about the Alternate Site scrimmages that took place in Sacramento over the last month and look forward to the Sacramento River Cats season, which opens tonight in Las Vegas.

But he’s now the Media and Baseball Operations Coordinator for the River Cats and got to watch all of the scrimmages that took place at Sutter Field this spring, so he brings a wealth of insights on players we may see in San Francisco soon, as well as lower level prospects like Heliot Ramos, Will Wilson, and Ricardo Genovés.
