It's time for another tasting sesh with your host Josh. But this time, with his mate Matt, the brewing hobbyist (who Josh helps out from time to time, mostly by drinking the beers).
The guys enjoyed four stout beers - two Imperial Stouts and two Pastry Stouts - by Moersleutel Craft Brewery. The diversity among the stout beers made for an interesting ride, but did they get the golden ticket (yes, like in the movie!)? Here are the four beers we selected for this tasting:
If you want to find out, sit back, grab your beers and join in on this tasting experience. Oh, and let us know about your own experience and if you agree with our rating.
Cheers!

In this ‘One for the road’ episode, Josh sat down again with his buddy, Eran (yup, that guy!) to enjoy a tasting of Energy City Brewing’s POG Trade Winds Turbine. Wow! Now that’s a mouthful.
Part of the Turbine series (no surprise there), this Tropical American Sour Ale is what the guys consider a ‘curveball beer’.
So, sit back, grab your beer (preferably a POG Trade Winds Turbine) and join in on this tasting experience. Oh, and let us know about your own experience and if you agree with our rating.
Cheers!

It's time for another tasting sesh with your host Josh and his buddy Eran. All four beers they tasted are part of the Garage Beer Co's 'anniversary pack' (yup, we just made that name up) which was put together to mark the anniversary of the new brew house.
Did each beer taste as poetic as their descriptions sound? You'll have to give it a listen to find out.

‘One for the Road’ is a shorter beer tasting session (you’re welcome) focused on, you guessed it, one beer.
In our second episode, Josh sat down again with buddies Lucas (not a beer fan) and Pao (the one yelling out comments from time to time) to enjoy a tasting of Smokey Blues Beer 2020. This tasty beer is a collab between Gulpener and Van de Ven Tailored Catering.
They sipped, laughed, and chatted about the Kilchoman Machir Bay whisky infused beer (wow, that’s a mouth full), and Gulpener's sustainability goals.

Sesh #4: This time, Josh sat down with his 'Haagsche Broeder', Lucas, to taste a few beers together. Now, Lucas isn’t a beer fan, but that just made this tasting a little more interesting.
For this session, we visited a local monastery in the old city center of The Hague, the Willibrordus House. We walked away with a selection of three Haagsche Broeder beers to taste - the first brewed, a new release and a collab with a local microroastery called Boon. Oh, and did we mention that long-time buddy Pao joined in on the tasting too? Well, now you know.

Sesh #3: This time, Josh and his buddy, (you guessed it) Eran, sat down to enjoy three hard-to-come-by beers by Narrow Gauge.
Based in the basement of a restaurant, Narrow Gauge is a truly unique brewery in Missouri. You can find out more about the history of the West End Narrow Gauge Railroad and Florissant Station, to which this brewery lends its name, in this video: https://youtu.be/eiwC67ENR3M.
Here are the three beers that were recommended for the tasting by our friends at the Free Beer Company:

‘One for the Road’ is a short beer tasting session (you’re welcome) focused on, you guessed it, one beer.
In our first episode, Josh sat down again with his buddy, Eran (yup, that guy!) to enjoy a tasting of the good ole Putty beer by Verdant.
Together, these two guys talked about the beer, the brewery and the taste, and they even ‘wandered’ through Cornwall.
So, grab your Putty and join in on this tasting experience. Oh, and let us know about your own experience and if you agree with our rating.
Cheers!
Sesh #2: Our host, Josh, sat down with long-time buddy, Pao to taste a few beers together.
This time, we handpicked a selection of “anything but boring” beers from the Dutch brewery, Jopen. Both the beers and the conversation were interesting.
Here are the five beers we selected for this tasting:
