Everyone should have a Paul and a Timothy in their life- someone to spiritually mentor them, and someone they are spiritually mentoring. In this episode I talk about what discipleship is, why it's so important, and some ideas for how to do it!
What is baptism and why should we be baptized? There’s a whole lot we could dive into here, but I tried to keep it simple and just cover the basics! Baptism is such a beautiful way God gave us to outwardly show what happened to us on the inside.
There’s a lot we can learn from the Israelites in the Old Testament, but one of my favorite lessons is the importance of remembrance. It’s so dangerous when we forget what God’s done, but when we reflect and recall His goodness, and thank Him for that, we can trust Him for the future.
Basically, prayer is talking to God. Which actually is not basic at all, it’s like the coolest thing EVER!
God doesn’t just desire for us to have a relationship with Him, He wants us to live in community with other Christians and do life with them. What does that look like? I’m so glad you asked.
Reading the Bible is so good for you! Spending time with God in His word is the ideal way to know Him more and ensure we’re living His best life for us. Also, stay tuned to the second half of this episode for a more ~unserious~ segment.
Have you ever wondered how to actually live as a Christian and what makes growth possible? I’ve wondered what the role of the Holy Spirit is in my life and I wanted to share what I’ve learned. He makes all the difference and wants to empower and direct us!
Have you ever wondered what happens if you sin? In this episode, we'll talk about what is affected based on if you're a Christian or not. Also- wanted to make a note about the analogy with the list of sins nailed- it's past, present, and future sins. Praise God! Hope you enjoy!
Part 2 of the Foundations for Faith series! I talk about how we can be 100% we have eternal life.
