As a Transgender male with over seventeen years of experience in law enforcement  (7 as a former police officer and over 10 as an attorney), rest assured that the Attorney on TheRhyze! segments will be jammed packed with insight, helpful tips, and action steps that can be taken to empower and inform all of us who are on the quest for solidarity, freedom, peace, and justice.

Author, Artist, Producer, and Host Naje Badu speaks with Poet, Rolando Rivera who joins in poetic discussion about being a man of color living in America. From San Diego California, Rolando brings to us some powerful words and shares his remarkable story of triumph, one that entails moving to America a the age of 3. It was through the endeavor to tackle the English language through reading books and magazines that he developed a love for words. As his ability to speak English began to strengthen, songs and poems became his vehicle for expressing thoughts, ideas, emotions, and perspectives as a young man. No years later, as an extended day teach and high school football coach, Rolando is now answering the call to a life long dream of publishing books and recording audiobooks.
