God instructed Joshua three times to “Be strong and courageous” and three times to “Obey the law.” It’s a clear message. The key takeaway is this: Your strength and moral courage are rooted in obedience to God. You develop Christian moral courage by standing for God’s cause, not just your own. True courage arises when your battles align with God’s purpose, and your enemies are also His.

Embrace the life God has designed—an abundant and easy life in Christ. Let go of worldly dreams and step into the purpose, protection, and provision offered by the Good Shepherd. Jesus came so you may have life, and have it abundantly. In Him, you are secure, provided for, and filled with a divine purpose that no circumstance can take away.

Trust in God’s plan, and rest in His goodness. No matter what has happened in the past, all things are working together for your good. Let His Spirit guide you into the dream life He has prepared. The only thing you surrender is the misery of a life without Him.

Live the abundant, purpose-filled, and easy life God has set before you. Step forward, take on His yoke, and find the rest and joy that only He can provide.

What is the armour of righteousness? Why must we as believers don the armour in our walk with Christ?

Ps Peter Eng at his sermon on 19/9/24 explained how righteousness which has been imputed unto us when we were saved, is key to the protection of our hearts in Christ, so that our lives may be led in accordance to God’s calling!

Today, Pastor Peter Eng urged us to put on the helmet of salvation from Ephesians 6:10-20 and to actively engage in spiritual warfare. The devil targets our salvation in three critical ways—past, present, and future.

•Hold fast to your past salvation (justification). You are already saved from the penalty of sin; don’t let doubt steal your assurance.

•Work out your present salvation (sanctification). Continually battle against the power of sin and grow in holiness every day.

•Fix your eyes on your future salvation (glorification). Hold on to the promise that one day you will be free from the presence of sin, living in eternal glory with Christ.

Stand firm in your faith, guard your heart and mind, and take confidence in God’s eternal promise!
