Our Spooktober celebrations bring us back to the small screen, seemingly with no Spooktober Man in sight for now. It's another reboot of a childhood classic with ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?, reminiscing about the original show and seeing how this mini-series manages to update things... but first we're going to spend a lot of time talking about the other scary things we've gotten to this season as well as LOVE ISLAND and LOVE ISLAND-adjacent reality TV programming so we've really got something for everyone this week.

It's that time of year again -- SPOOKTOBER IS HERE! For the next month we're going all out with the spooks, scares, haunts and horror and to start, we've got the most terrifying thing of all: an old director trying a new genre! OOOoooOOoOoooOOOoOoOO. The boys dive hard into the social commentary and thematic points George Romero is trying to get out, debate the best Halloween treat box, and manage to stave off the possession of a horrific demon. All in a day's work.

With our newfound ability to plumb the depths of genuine obscurity, a finger on the monkey's paw curled. This is PARENT TRAP III, a movie related to a movie Liam loves the remake of. It is exactly what you think it is. We don't have profound insights into it, but we do have stories about pranking parents, and that'll have to be close enough.

This episode is the perfect distillation of the "discovering MAMMA MIA" experience.
