It's a tale as old as time: you're a director behind a beloved cult-classic horror film that helped define zombie fiction that would dominate pop culture for decades to come, and you need to remake that film so no one can steal the copyright out from under your nose. Time to get the band back together, sort of: George A. Romero and Tom Savini are here! And Corey exhibits remarkable restraint in not talking about KNIGHTRIDERS for three hours.

Finally, we've reached the feature film debut of Mortal Kombat: Conquest's Eva Mendes. What a momentous occasion. We also discover there's a lot of ways to say "children of the corn." but none of them make up for the fact this is "teenagers of the corn" at best, which is an unrelenting letdown. To put it simply, this episode is chaos. Truly unhinged. We're helped through our uncertainty about tackling the musical and whimsical MARY POPPINS RETURNS by none other than Mitchy Poppins, and in about a third the length of the film we're able to work through our myriad feelings about it, do a shocking number of stupid bits, and talk about bongs Too Much. This episode is an instant classic, honestly.
