In Season 2, Episode 8, I talked with my real life friend, blogger, and podcaster, Amber Burns about social media and staying in touch. I was inspired to have the conversation based on her awesome social media presence on instagram, and was so grateful for each of our twists and turns in conversation. In this episode we discuss:

In Season 2 Episode 7, I bring on a co-host, Abbie Ajayi, to chat with Neil Bardhan about how to tell a great story. Neil’s background in theater, science, and improv give him unique perspective on not only how to tell a great story, but the importance of telling a great story and how that ties to connecting with people around us. In this episode we discuss:
Neil’s background in storytelling
The parts of a story
How to compose a story
Building confidence in your storytelling
How vulnerable to let yourself be when telling a story
When stories are useful to have
Neil’s thoughts on words like “um” and “so”
You can find Neil online on Twitter (@NeilPBardhan), Instagram (@knilegram), LinkedIn, and on his website, Bardhan Consulting.
Season 2, Episode 6 is a solo show where I pitch the idea of workshop parties. That's right, workshops are the new party. In this episode I share many ideas of what types of workshop parties you can host and tips to do it successfully.

Season 2, Episode 5 is a solo show where I talk about everything I've learned about hosting virtual events (mostly virtual parties for guests of honor) in my year of working from home. Whether it's a birthday party, retirement party, bachelorette party, or bridal party, with the right preparation for the event, you can still create a meaningful experience for the guests and the guest of honor.
In this episode, I discuss:

In Season 2, Episode 4 of Things I’m Working On, I talk with Mindy Previtera from Petrelli Previtera Law about prenuptial agreements. In our conversation we cover the basics of what a prenuptial agreement is and what can be included in it, I also ask very specific questions about what happens during a divorce in certain situations, what counts as premarital property, who should be thinking about getting a prenuptial agreement, and how much it costs to get one. This was a great conversation, and I hope that it helps you out as you are making decisions of your own!

In the third episode of season 2, Chrystina and Beth D'Andrea from Plum Financial Planning have a conversation about what it looks like to merge financial lives with someone when you get married. Should you merge accounts? Do you need a separate savings account? What kind of questions should you be asking yourself and each other as you forge together in your partnership?
All of these questions are answered (and more) in this hour long conversation.

In the second episode of season 2, Chrystina and Jen Gumbel from An Organized (after)Life have a conversation about what estate planning is, the types of questions you should be asking (both yourself and your loved ones), and what steps you can take towards preparing your estate right now.
It's also just the kind thing to do for your loved ones. The more you can get your things in order, the less hastle they will need to deal with later. It always comes back to community building.

In Episode 12 I talk with a friend from work, Priyal Shah, about an activity we just recently completed. After listening to Episode 5 of the Radical Candor podcast about how to have Career Conversations as a step towards being a better boss, I realized this would be a good activity to do in a group of colleagues as well as just one-on-one. We scheduled a month's worth of after hours meetings to have life conversations, discuss our visions and dreams, and build a career action plan.
In this conversation we discuss what we did, what worked well, what we would change for next time, and some of the benefits we got from completing the activity.
