The world as we know it has gone through what I’ll like to call a ‘global war’ - A crisis that has affected all nations, all industries, all persons and certainly, ALL DESIGNERS.
As we continue to monitor the impact of this pandemic on the design industry worldwide. It’s important that as a community we work together in rethinking what this really means for all our industry and life as a whole. As an Interior Designer and promoter in Africa, I am well privy to the intricacies of our design eco-system and some possible issues we may face after this global war.
Just to give you some perspective - Africa imports $9.5 billion on interior design products from round the world.
