Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us as we dive into all the different subjects from Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church.

First, we'll go back through one of the most famous Bible verses ever and break it down from the Greek translation to see what it really means.

Then, we'll discuss some of the laws from the Old Testament and how the disciples broke those laws by eating wheat. We'll talk about why those priests who condemned them were not able to see Jesus as the Messiah and whether they had anything better to do.

Additionally, we'll talk about Jesus getting mad and how we should approach trying to forgive people when we feel that we have been wronged.

We'll also hear Pastor-D's impersonation of "sissy" Jesus and find out what he thinks about that perception of him.

Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D! Please join us as we dive into all the different subjects from Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church.

This week we begin with a listener question about the conversations that God and Jesus have. We'll also talk about what Peter must have felt like and what we might feel like if we were to come into the presence of Jesus. We'll also find out why Jesus chose to use Peter in the many ways that he did.

We'll go on to discuss Jesus breaking the Old Testament ceremonial law with his curing of Larry the Leper and Paul the Paralytic. Pastor-D will tell us about how modern-day Jewish people have "tabled" the Old Testament laws and get around without obeying them.

Pastor-D will also tell us how to approach your good friends about sharing the news of Jesus and eternal salvation, about his favorite Michelle story and about the time he was the last person to witness to someone before their death.

Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us this week as we continue the sermon series from the book of Luke.

Today's podcast begins with a trip down memory lane to discuss former POTUS Jimmy Carter. We'll discuss his life, his Christian beliefs and how he addressed certain issues while working as president. We'll also talk about the California wildfires and what might happen in a famous New York murder case.

We'll then talk about Luke, his life and how he came to write what might be considered the majority of the New Testament. We'll talk about sinful thoughts and how Jesus made it through life without sinning, even with all the temptation that was thrust at him.

We'll also address how Jesus lives in us and how we should go about harnessing the power that he gives us each day.

Pastor-D will also tell us what he got Michelle for Christmas and will let us know what he thinks about a particular Beatles tune.

Happy New Year and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

The new year is upon us and Pastor-D is back in the studio for the beginning of season 3! This week at Coast Life Church, we're starting a new series titled The Book of Luke.

We begin the podcast discussing the terror attack that occurred in New Orleans last week. We then move on to discuss the Church's security team and what happens when any sort of threat may appear at our Church. One of our security team members, Tim Solanica, also joins us today and is able to give us some insight as to what happens each week as they go about protecting us while we enjoy the services.

We then delve into the past couple of weeks as Pastor-D tells us about his hunting trip and the kids toys he got for Christmas, including his new Star Wars pajamas and light saber. - Yes, you read that right.

We'll go on to discuss Jesus as a child, how smart he probably was and what it must have been like to go through life never having sinned. Additionally, we'll address what Mary and Joseph must have gone through knowing that they were helping to raise the savior of the entire world...and what it may have felt like when they made a mistake.

We'll also talk about John the Baptist, his role in announcing the coming of Jesus and what it must have been like for him as a child knowing who Jesus was. We'll talk about his diet (locusts), his life and the significant part he played in fulfilling the prophecy of Jesus' arrival here on Earth.

Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

It's Christmas time and we hope you'll join us this week as we discuss the Christmas sermon at Coast Life Church.

We'll begin this podcast trying to figure out why Pastor-D has such a hard time keeping his mic working. Then we'll listen as he removes his eye and turns into a pirate.

We'll then finish up our discussion about the health care system here in the United States. Pastor-D will answer the question again about what he thinks Jesus would say if he were asked about the way we deliver health care here in America.

We'll talk about how our modern-day concept of time is based on the existence of Jesus here on earth and how we all spend our physical and mental lives working within what is the very existence of him. Pasto-D will clear up the BC, AD and BCE confusion and how to tell the difference. He'll also tell us where the gentiles came from and when they started.

Finally, we'll discuss the three wise men, who they were and where they came from. We'll also talk about smart people and try to figure out why so many of them can't seem to come to the logical conclusion that God exists.

Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us this week as we discuss the Sunday sermon at Coast Life Church...Behold Him: His Grace and Mercy.

This episode, we'll begin with Pastor-D's association between Heaven and donuts. Then we'll answer a couple of listener questions about pastoring your own children, what the earth must have been like before the great flood and how Cheetos are made.

We'll talk about the order of creation and how the devil was at work long before the earth was able to support life. Pastor-D will tell us where the idea came from about good works getting you into Heaven, rather than the grace of Jesus Christ.

Pastor-D will also tell us about how he got out of a ticket by telling the officer he was handsome, how he got out of a ticket at court and why you should always fight traffic tickets.

Finally, we'll discuss the state of healthcare in the US and what Jesus might say about how our system doesn't always work to help people.

Hello there and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us this week as we discuss the Sunday sermon at Coast Life Church...Behold Him: The Power.

We'll first follow up on our talk about Jewish people and why they don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Pastor-D will then tell us where the Christmas date of December 25th came from and how God was testing Joseph's faith by using Mary to deliver baby Jesus.

We'll also discuss the opportunities that we all pass on to wield the power that Jesus has given us and how he gave that power to 72 different people as they went out into the world to heal people. Pastor-D will tell us about the time he was able to simply pray for someone and how Jesus would heal them with his prayer.

He will also tell us about the time he dropped Micah on his head, he'll tell us about how gross child-birth is and will compare a placenta to one of his favorite foods. Yeah. Seriously.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and good night! Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us this week as we discuss the Sunday sermon at Coast Life Church...Behold Him

This week we follow up with some Thanksgiving shenanigans, and Pastor-D's trip to see his parents in North Carolina.

We'll discuss what will happen with modern-day Jewish people if they have maintained the Old Covenant until this day. We'll also try to figure out who the Holy Spirit is in Heaven.

We'll talk about the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve, and whether they felt guilty about being the first sinners. Pastor-D will tell us about Satan taking the form of a serpent and how God gave him control of the earth. We'll talk about whether there is life in other areas of the universe and what the physical components of Heaven will look like.

Pastor-D will also tell us about the dark ages, how athletic the first children on earth were and how dumb scientists must feel when they try to create life.
