Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D

Let us know what you think!

Hello Everybody! Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us as we discuss questions and topics from Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church. This week we'll discuss:

1. The issues surrounding Jelly Roll and whether his antics may have just taught us a thing or two.
2. We'll discuss Priests and why they were in charge of convicting people and then stoning them to death.
3. We'll talk about how to figure out what Jesus is telling us when we're a little too emotionally involved in a subject.
4. We'll talk about what happens when we are disappointed and to turn that disappointment into a reconnection with Jesus.
5. Finally, we'll talk about declaring Jesus' name and why it shouldn't be so hard to do it when it's a part of being saved anyway.

We'll also hear about Pastor-D's new medicine, why he never gets a flu shot and which Biblical figure he looks most like.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us as we discuss several topics from Pastor-D's Sunday sermon! These topics will include:

1. Three questions sent in by listeners.
2. Jesus' response to the scribe about which law of God was the most important and how, 2,000 years later, his statement would become the mission of Coast Life Church.
3. We'll then talk about marriage back in Biblical times and the ramifications an unexpected pregnancy might have caused.
4. We'll talk about the priests back then, who seemed to be the ones responsible for ensuring that lawbreakers got stoned to death.
5. Finally, we'll talk about the advantages boys and girls have in keeping their virginity until they are married.

We'll also hear Pastor-D's take on Jelly Roll, the way to get yourself out of debt and whether the old saying that "the ends justify the means" is ever the right way to go.

5. Then we'll talk about what it means to be exponentially thankful for the things we have in this life, especially if you are a resident of the United States.

We'll also hear Pastor-D's take on Jelly Roll's latest song, how long you can wait to eat leftovers after Thanksgiving and why God has blessed us here in the United States with so much.

Hi! Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

The Church's trip to Israel got cancelled...but before it happened we recorded three episodes of the podcast that would walk our listeners through the trip as it would have been experienced for those who went.

This is the third of those three episodes. In it, we will cover days six and seven of the trip, with forays into the West Bank and on to Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified and buried. Once again, we'll talk about everything they'll see as well as the Biblical stories that happened at each place.

So join us for a virtual trip through Israel!

This is the first of those three episodes. In it, we will cover the first two days of the trip, beginning in Tel Aviv and continuing up the coast of the Mediterranean toward Mount Carmel. We'll talk about everything they'll see as well as the Biblical stories that happened at each place.

Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us as we discuss several topics from this past Sunday's sermon as well as answer a couple of listener questions!

1. We'll talk about why people sometimes don't seem to care about where life came from and why they are here.
2. We'll talk about the crazy woman that was following Paul and Silas around and how Paul saving her from her demons was a metaphor for what we should be doing.
3. We'll take a look at some of the strange laws that Rome had in place to protect it's citizens.
4. We'll discuss tithing and whether the 10% rule is covered under the New Covenant we have with God.
5. We'll then go over exactly what you need to do when someone tells you that they want to be saved.

Also, we'll get Pastor D's take on Joe's band playing devil songs, an update on Pastor Phil's kidney transplant and what you can expect if you go on the missions trip to the Dominican Republic with the Church this spring.

Hello Everybody! Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us as we discuss questions and topics from Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church. This week we'll discuss:

1. A question about interpreting the Bible, as well as questions concerning the Israel topics we covered last week about Isaac and Ishmael's descendents.
2. Why Muhammad made up the religion of Islam in the first place.
3. The differences in communion depending on denomination.
4. How to show your gratitude to Jesus with more than just a prayer.
5. Why Jesus bothers with us in the first place, even though we are all so filled with sin.

Also, Pastor-D will chime in about the extra-Biblical rules established by the Catholic Church, when sin was allowed in Heaven and the latest on Pastor Phil's upcoming kidney transplant.

Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!

Please join us as we discuss a smorgasbord of different topics!

This week, we'll cover some of the following topics:

1. We'll first tackle a couple of questions sent in by listeners.
2. Then we'll discuss, in detail, the conflict that is going on in Israel right now. We'll explain exactly why there has always been such tension in the region and why Muslims hate Jewish people (and Christians) so much.
3. We'll then talk a little about the sermon from Sunday, specifically Jezebel, how she became so evil and why more people didn't come to God's side after the great challenge from Elijah.

Pastor-D will also pontificate about drinking alcohol, when enough is enough, and how to tell someone no when you think they are taking advantage of your willingness to help them.
