Guten Tag our long box friends!! We are inching closer and closer to double digits with this 9th episode!!!  We are back to normal as we took the last episode to pay special homage to the year 2014!! We are in the long box cavern (Gabe's basement) with Jon in the house, and NO interviews! But, we are back to form with a HUGE interview for the next episode! Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for that!

We talk about The Suicide Squad, wondering if the stars for that movie are too "BIG" for that movie?! Were you excited for the Ant Man trailer............two of our trio weren't and they tell us why. We also speak about why Albie, from the Quantum Leap Podcast is the master of advertising, and why our advertising will be.................interesting. Speaking of the Quantum Leap Podcast, make sure that you GO and nominate them for the Podcast Awards!! They definitely deserve to be nominated, and win of course!! They are bringing Quantum Leap to life, so if you LOVED that show, as a few of us do/did, it definitely deserves a listen!!

Jon's "old shit" segment brings us to the land of Swamp Thing. Jon has EVERY single appearance of Swamp Thing in comics, and tells us about finishing his collection this last month! Gabe's "old shit" is The Planet of the Apes collection. He tells us an awesome story about him watching the original Planet of the Apes with his son, and being amazed at the great reaction that he got out of the end of the movie!

Good morning Peoria!! The eighth episode of The Thinking Outside the Long Box podcast is up and READY to be listened to! It is a "best of 2014" episode! We will run through our "best of" for movies, TV shows, comic books, and our favorite movie trailer of the year! Also, Jon and Gabe take their old segment back to 1994, 20 years ago! Jon tells us about Aquaman Volume 5, which brings about a very different Aquaman than most people are used to! Gabe tells us of his love for GI Joe, and the last issue that came out in 1994! AND, Juan throws in an "old shit" segment, telling us a little bit about Quantum Leap, the Quantum Leap Podcast, and a little bit more on how this podcast came to be! Buenos dias Long Box loyalists!! The seventh episode is primed and ready to go!! Jon from Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles joins us from the recesses of the Hall of Justice, via Skype! He's a little sick, so what better way to perk him up, then to talk nerdy to him for a few hours!! Chris from Anomalous Comics joins us, and tells us all about his clown exploits!! They have some AMAZING artwork, which they were, more than kind enough, to share with us!! It will definitely leave you a little more weary of clowns!! This time we get to speak with Sal, who tells us more about some of their other titles! He tells us the origin story of "Ninja Baseball Batman," and many many more titles that they are working on! What an awesome thing it is to see these guys flourish!!

In Gabe's "old shit" segment, we get to hear all about his sons connection to Army of Darkness. Why someone in that movie shares a namesake with him, and how much those Bruce Campbell movies meant to his childhood! He also tells us about the first time that he got to sit down and watch the Army of Darkness, thinking that he was going to be scared out of his mind, and feeling totally different.......... Nobody can remember what Jon's old segment was, so it'll be a surprise to all of us.........too much Nyquil.................

Konichiwa Long Box listeners!! We are a little over two months into this crazy adventure, and onto our sixth episode!! Thanks to everyone from around the world who is listening, and joining us on this journey!!

The guys fill us in on Godzilla cataclysm, Birthright, and the Manhattan Project, among other things of course!! Did you see Jon's cosplay at Denver Comic Con last year? Hello once again everyone!! This is our FOURTH episode of the Thinking Outside the Long Box podcast, and probably the most special in all of them!! In this episode, as you can tell by the title, we have the absolute pleasure of interviewing ROB BRUCE from Comic Book Men!! He gives us insight on how he started collecting, what are some of the things that he has collected since then, and of course, his time on TV! Did you know that, not only does Rob appear in front of the camera sometimes on Comic Book Men, but he's also a producer behind the scenes? You'll hear him talk about that, and much much more!!

As always, Gabe and Juan talk about their nerdy things as well! Like, who will die next in The Walking Dead. We go over a list of five people (some already dead in real time) who might be the next to get that zombie infection!! In his "old shit" segment, Gabe also tells us why he is so in love with Conan, and about his VAST collection of said title.

In a correction from the last episode, Jon brings back his "old shit" segment, that was accidentally omitted last time. He tells us all about Ray Palmer, and his love for The Atom.
