Must we ALWAYS bless Israel? Is that biblical?
In this episode of Thinking With Your Bible, Scott, Chris, and Bree tackle the listener's question, “How can we be thinking with our Bible concerning the Middle East conflict? Coming from an Evangelical charismatic background, I was told that you never come against God chosen and anointed people no matter what.”

It seems like every time you open up social media, you learn of another pastor who’s fallen from grace. How should we think about it? What do we do?
Scott, Chris, and Bree tackle this by answering a listener’s question, “Can you talk about Pastors or Christian leaders and moral failures? For example, sexual immorality, embezzling funds, child abuse. These events keep happening specifically in the Christian church, and it can be hard to process and think biblically about them. Can you provide any advice for evangelism to people whose main objection to the Christian faith is the pattern of moral failures of Christian leaders?”
They discuss:

When we fear something, we run away from them, right? Not so with God.
As children of God, we are removed from His wrath and brought into sonship. Our terror is turned to awe and reverence to our Heavenly Father. We now delight to obey Him, and “would be ashamed to do anything which would grieve him”, as Sinclair Ferguson explains.
Scott and Chris dive deeper into the fear of God in this episode, and explain how the fear of God as His children help us from wandering.

It’s pride month, and LGBTQ+ conversations are at their height. So how do you handle those conversations?
To help, Scott, Chris, and Bree answer a listener’s question, “I have many non Christian friends, a number of them are gay. I’ve made it clear to all my friends and coworkers that I’m a Christian, I talk about my faith often, and I pray that my life’s example shows God’s truth. I have even clearly stated to my gay friends previously that I believe being gay is a sin. So my question is this, how should I handle hearing about their sinful lives and how often should I be re-stating my opinion on their sin?”
In this episode, you’ll learn:
We hope this episode equips you with the relationships in your life and helps you be a light for Christ & truth!

Wisdom begins with a holy reverence, or fear, for the One who created the world. He knows all things, and has deposited the ability to search out and apprehend truth to all people. However, when we don’t connect true facts, or knowledge, to God, we may know things rightly but not truly.
Through Scripture, Scott and Chris dive into the connection between fearing God and true knowledge. We learn how the fear of the Lord helps us see ourselves rightly, give wisdom to others, identify foolishness, and more.
