  • Violence is on the Rise in America (American Issues Take Two)

How Much is this is Because of Trump.  The hosts for this show are Jay Fidell and Tim Apicella.  The guests are Stephanie Dalton, Vicky Cayetano and Manfred Henningsen.

"Posts and searches for the term "civil war" have recently spiked on social media and podcasts as the midterm elections approach. And a White Christian nationalist   movement, which insists that America was created to be a White, Christian nation, is growing in power."

Trump showed his ability to activate bigotry and hatred  in his base with his dog whistle.  He showed us how to  exacerbate violence in the streets of our cities, and incite it in the insurrection at our Capitol. His acolytes have suggested that there will be violence if he is indicted.  He opposes gun control and he never condemns the violence but rather implicitly gives license to it, and we see the number of mass murders dramatically increasing. And he is now inviting violent bigots to meet with him at Mar-a-Lago.  Police are quitting all of the country.  What is the state of violence in America, and how much is Trump responsible for these dangerous increases.  How much will it increase in the chaos of his forthcoming campaign.  How will that affect our country and our democracy.

  • Beacon of Liberty or Civil War (Community Matters)

What Would Frederick Douglass say.  The host for this show is Jay Fidell.  The guests are Peter Adler, David Louie and Chuck Crumpton.

'Posts and searches for the term 'civil war' have recently spiked on social media and podcasts as the midterm elections approach. And a White Christian nationalist   movement, which insists that America was created to be a White, Christian nation, is growing in power.'

Stochastic terror — the idea that even if people in power don’t specifically call their followers to violence, by entertaining it as a legitimate tactic or by demonizing a political enemy on a platform capable of reaching millions of people, one of those millions will be inspired to violent action — provides a framework for understanding the current moment. But it’s impossible to know who’s going to perpetrate that violent act, where and how they’ll strike, or even who or what the target could be.

  • Many Roads Lead to Tump's Indictment (American Issues Take One)

New Special Council, Jack Smith Takes over.  The hosts for this show are Tim Apicella and Jay Fidell.  The guests are Chuck Crumpton and Jeff Portnoy.

If you map out the many events that led to the Jan 6 attack on the nation's Capital, they may appear random. However, each road was designed to install Trump back as president after his election loss: the 59 lawsuits that failed, the fake state electors that planned to be installed, the MAGA GOP state legislators that coordinated to install them, the plan for Sidney Powell (Trump's attorney) to be appointed as Special Council in order to have the military confiscate voting machines,Trump's quest to intimidate the GA Secretary of State to find an additional 11,780 votes, the pressure brought onto the Arizona's House Speaker to declare the election was filled with fraud, persuading the DOJ that there was enough evidence of fraud to warrant an election investigation, the pressure brought upon VP Mike Pence to not certify the Electoral College votes, and the invitation for thousands of MAGA GOP to march on the Capital. All attempts were connected to reinstall Trump as a two-term president.
