Wolverine came out a few days ago and got review bombed before most people finished the first level... but was it really that bad?

Should Justice League vs the Legion of Doom be the DCU's Avengers?

That argument ate half this episode and nobody won. Is James Gunn planting villains in Lanterns and the Jimmy Olsen show on purpose? Does the man take criticism from anyone? Andrew's defense: the DCU is one year old, Marvel got four. Mateo's answer: DC is just harder to put on screen.

Before that: Nolan's Odyssey, where the giants are seven foot actors instead of CGI, and a cyclops death that had Mateo laughing when it really wasn't supposed to. Plus what a Sam Raimi Batman would look like, and an Among Us show on Paramount that none of us knew existed.

The camera died before the argument did.

First take of a two-episode night, back on the couch with three mics. Mateo's Puerto Rico trip starts with a forgotten car-seat adapter and an Uber begged into a U-turn, then the room gets dark: a church basement, a girls' bathroom light that turned itself back on, a niece who pointed at the window and said "ghosts", and three babies who keep staring at the same corner. From there it's Buddy - the Barney-shaped horror movie with Keegan-Michael Key - and whether a reviewer we like got it wrong, and then a real argument: Batman's original version goes public domain in the 2030s. Gift to the fan-film kids, or guaranteed garbage? Opens cold on Andrew's niece and the window.

The laptop died on us, so this one is two lav mics and a phone on a couch - and the camera hit its thirty-minute wall right before the sign-off. We got it out anyway. It is a DC week: is the DCU actually cooking, or did Marvel just have one good year? A Superman rewatch that keeps getting worse, the Jimmy Olsen show, and then a long, happy argument about Lanterns episode two - the suit reveal, John Stewart's bird, which Hal Jordan this even is, and a theory that Hal's death is a Parallax fake-out.

Third Issue goes portable: John is travelling, so this one is a Discord session. We watch the new Resident Evil trailer together, get into Zach Cregger and Weapons, how the Halo show actually got made (and why season 2 ended up free on YouTube), Clayface, and the correct - New Jersey - location of Gotham City.
