One of my favorite lines from Jim Rohn is "Service to many leads to greatness"

Greatness can only come from service. But it has to be a way of being, not a tactic.

When we come at service from the right way, that is how we change the world.

The piece of advice that I most often give to my children is:

"when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging"

I find that this piece of advice is one of the most sound pieces of common sense. 

And yet one of the most overlooked and ignored piece of common sense that we have.

Lets talk about that!

There are two kinds of people in the world.

Those that look at people who have succeeded, and go, "Why them and not me?"

And then the other kind of person looks at them and goes, "if they can do it, I can do it"

And it really comes down to the infinite game versus the finite game. 

So let's talk about that.

I love to garden. It is therapeutic for me, and feeds my family.

Today I share some life lessons from the Garden.

1 - You reap what you sow, but not everything grows the same, so keep sowing:   Some plans go well, some do not. Keep trying, keep planting.

2 - Pull your weeds when they are small:   The longer you let problems or habits go on, the harder it is to fix them.

3 - Check and Water it every day: Check in every day to see what is important. Where does your focus need to be TODAY.

Do these three things and you will have a garden, and life, that lives to the Third Power!
