Karl and Crew

Thirsty?

Listen Later

Shawna admits that the older she gets, the more she’s drawn to comfort. Even feels entitled to it. Comfort is a strong value in America and it competes big time with our loyalty to Jesus, whose way is sometimes really hard, but not without his gentle comfort. Then we drink from a million wells trying quench our deepest thirst while only one well will satisfy. Next, marriage is one of the wells we can drink from to try to satisfy our deepest thirst, but even marriage, as beautiful as it is, can’t satisfy our deep down soul thirst.

Then, post-moderns struggle with the idea that Jesus is the only way to God. If you struggle with this, listen in to this conversation about why Jesus just may be the only one in the universe qualified to be that bridge.  Finally, Perry has been sharing about going through a season of depression. And Ted, a Perry and Shawna Mornings listener is grateful cause he struggles too. But Ted didn’t just call to encourage Perry, he called to encourage you! Share this show you’re encouraged by it.
