Intro to me and my podcast.
Summary: We hear about being grateful all the time but what does that even mean and how can we learn more ways without being basic about it? Today we'll give you some actionable tips to incorporate daily habits to increase your #happiness and #confidence.
Bio: Jess Caroll is a TV host (E! News, HSN, and LA Live), confidence coach for a program she created called the YES life. Jessica empowers people to overcome doubt and negative self-talk by helping them get clear on their “WHY” and create a daily routine that works with their lifestyle through her newly launched YES Life Program.
In this episode @JessCarollTV tells us how to:
1. What is personal growth?
"The beginning journey of self confidence. It's stepping outside your comfort zone and wanting to learn. It can be a different journey for everyone and there’s no right or wrong way; there’s no mistakes in it."
2. How healing is an energy flow and you’ll attract more of it. Ripple effect
3. How her morning routine helped her get over depression and changed her entire life.
It's so damn simple in 5 steps: VALUE
1. Visualize (what you’re grateful for the day to come)
2. Action
"Jot down your to-do list like CVS receipt brain dump. Then circle top 3/realistic things you want to master that day or your must-do’s.
*Pro Tip: She does one before checking her email and crosses it off to do a little brain trick for momentum and to get her into a productive mindset
3. Love
"Take time to go inward and appreciate yourself." Then she sends a voice message to one person that she wants to express gratitude to that morning. "It means the world to people! You never know what they’re going through and it might make their day. It's also so much more special than a text and it's a little extra step for someone to hear the energy in your voice."
4. Unplug (take a moment of silence/mediation or read, podcast, music while showering).
"This helps me respond to things in the morning vs. reacting right away".
5. Excercise (movement, stretch, walk with your dog or around the block, a quick yoga flow before you dive into your day).
*Pro Tip: She loves quick 20-30 min morning workouts usually from @sammiclarke or @alexiss_clarkk becaue they are good circuits in your living room with minimal equipment. She also loves her ab wheel and does 10 a day.

Bonus Qustions:
What is the YES life program you've created?
"It's about finding your YES and feel good about the path your on and getting CLEAR about your purpose (relationships, career, etc). Her program teaches you what to say NO to too. Do you know your five core values??"
How do you get more self love —> stop comparing!
What was the one thing the Dalai Lama told her? To have zero judgements .
