This Connected Podcast presents Diego Gamboa of Parousia Band, the youth of Genesis Adolescentes of St Mary and members of the parish community in this two part broadcast on the air of "Via Crucis" the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ.  This podcast will be in Spanish.
The passion play of Via Crucis has been a long tradition at St. Mary's. Unfortunately due to the Global pandemic the live play could not be done.  The youth of St Mary's in their creativity was able to put together this play recording separately and putting it all together as you hear now.  We hope you appreciate all the work that Diego Gamboa has placed in this work.  The cast are:  Diego Gamboa, Angel Ortega, Kevin Vergara, Josue Marin, Samuel Marin, Humberto Marin, Dina Marin, Elizabeth Gamboa, Sarah Dingler.

On this 33rd Episode of This Connected we thought we would do it different this time around and record off a live Instagram feed.  Although it was fun, it did have some technical audio difficulties.  This cast is a little low on the volume so please turn it up.  Joining me is special guest, Tony Pimentel who is the Middle School and High School Ministry Coordinator of Saint Oscar Romero Catholic Church in Eastvale, California.  He has been involved in youth ministry for 9 years.  He loves serving the Lord, leading worship, creating video content of all sorts, and saying classic dad jokes but he is not a dad.
The podcast today is about HOARDING FAITH - GOD’S T.P. (TOTAL PROVIDENCE)
Providence is defined as: the protective care of God as a spiritual Power and so in we talk a little about Virtues and Vices and say a few Dad jokes.  We talk a little about the effects of the Global Pandemic on ministry and young people and we talk a little about St Therese of Lisiuex little way to becoming a saint. Her way is the "elevator" this age its the web.
Tony shares insight on his role as a youth minister, young adult during this time.  This podcast is funny and full of awkward moments but ultimately filled with the Holy Spirit.

This Connected Episode 31- Bonus Pandemic Episode.  
We are living in an unprecedented time.  A Time of anxiety, of fear, of what we don’t know, of what we can’t see.  We are living in a time of stay home orders, loss of work, not being able to see family and friends, not being able to go to school. Not being able to go to worship God at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass together, in person with our friends. We live in a time when even our ministries that are called to go out to meet people and evangelize are challenged.  Today we will talk to Edgardo Juarez, the director of the Ministry for Young Catholics in the Diocese of San Bernardino regarding what is happening with the ministry and what plans they have to continue to minister to the young people of our diocese.

And of course we will find out who our guest will be the Patron Saint of.

Episode 26 is an interview with newly ordained priest Fr Alex Rodarte. Ordained in 2017 he is currently assigned at St Adelaide Catholic Church in Highland California. Fr Alex is relatable and has a calm easy going demeanor that young and old are drawn to. In the podcast we talk about his vocation story as a local boy, graduating from Rialto High School, his first crush, to being called to serve God as his priest . We listen as he answers the speed round questions of his likes and definitely his like of Star Wars, Star Trek and his advice for the youth.
