Released on this day in 1996 was a special tribute album to one of the greatest British groups of the 60's - The Small Faces. Songs were recorded by some of Britpop's biggest names including Paul Weller, Primal Scream, Ocean Colour Scene and the Buzzcocks. 80% of the profits were going towards Small Faces bass player Ronnie Lane's multiple sclerosis treatment.
