Because of sin, man cannot come to God unless God first draws him. Salvation is entirely by grace—no one can earn it. Only through faith in Christ can a person be restored to God.

The Corinthian church was divided into factions, with some saying, "I follow Paul," others "I follow Apollos," and others "I follow Cephas (Peter)." Many churches today fall into the same trap, where believers are more loyal to pastors, denominations, or movements than to Christ. True unity is not about following a leader—it is about following Jesus. Brother Sam warned against the false idea that unity means accepting every belief for the sake of peace. Many people today compromise biblical truth to avoid offending others. However, true unity is built on sound doctrine—believers must be united in the gospel, not in false teachings. Apostle Paul taught that we must stand firm on biblical truth, even if it causes division with those who reject it.

3. On Baptism

Brother Sam emphsized that baptism is an act of obedience and identification with Christ. Baptism symbolizes a believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. It is a public testimony that the believer is now dead to sin and alive in Christ. The act of immersion in water illustrates being buried with Christ and raised to new life and we're called to remember it always an ordinary means of grace the Lord gave to us.

The two common misunderstandings about Sanctification are

Antinomianism (False grace) – "Since we are sanctified, we don’t need to strive for holiness." Legalism – "We must reach a certain level of holiness to be accepted by God."
