Brother Glory exhorts us to beware of Idols as apostle John did in 1st John.
We see that Idols are there to extinguish the love of God from our hearts and the way to counter them is to keep our fire burning, to desire the Lord and meditate on His word until we practice it.

We continue our series on the church being the Pillar and Ground of Truth.
In this part, we see how Jesus instituted the Church so that we can also experience and enjoy the grace, truth, and godliness the apostles also enjoyed.
We look at the one thing we need to understand about the Church being the pillar and ground of the truth. It is the sanctification of the Church by the word (John 17:17). We see how it is the responsibility of the Church to feed the sheep (John 21:15). The Church through the ministry gifts provided by Christ is to help believers exude the glory of Christ by being in the right conditions for growth.
We also look at the responsibility of the believer to the word of God, in our reading, studying meditating, and application of the word to our day-to-day affairs.

In this bible study, Pastor Seye explains to us the effect sin has on our mindset and how it is vital to keep our mind on God's faithfulness to forgive us.
From Mark 2:1-13, we see that Jesus sees the faith of the paralyzed man's friends and responds with "Your sins are forgiven".
Here, Jesus addresses the primary resistance the paralyzed man had to receive his healing.
We see that sin causes sickness directly and indirectly and that were healed by the Lord's mercy alone.
It is important we keep in our mind that we have received God's mercy for the forgiveness of our sins and that we don't allow sin consciousness to hold us down and back from fulfilling all God has planned for us.

On this Easter Sunday, Pastor Sam helps us to understand how much of a "big deal" sin is, and how helpless we are because we falter every day.
He shows us from Genesis 3, how sin is consistently giving in to desirable and self-gratifying pleasures that keep us out of God's will for us, and we're consistently doing that every day.
He also shows us that the deceit of sin is self-righteousness and that alone shows us how depraved we are. This shows us how unworthy to stand before the Holy One, Creator of heaven and earth.
But we have a great High Priest, who is the eternal Lamb slain for our sins, Jesus Christ, and by Him, we can come to God because Jesus has taken away our sins.
This is our great joy this Easter.

Pastor Sam begins a new teaching series on the Pillar and Ground of Truth which is the Chruch.
He explains why Apostle Paul considered the conduct in the Church, the Household of God, to be very important. He explains that the truth needs a foundation as well as a pillar.
He further explained that Jesus established both the vertical and the horizontal relationship as a community of people that love God and one another while passing on the truth from one generation to the next.
He further explains that what we have as a household is built solely on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.

Pastor Sam continues the teaching series on the Spirit of the Sabbath.
In this teaching, Pastor Sam reiterates that the Spirit of the Sabbath is to demonstrate your absolute devotion to God by saying NO to everything else.
We further examine the two forms of Idolatry:
Monotheism Idolatry, which is replacing the supreme place of God in one's life with something else i.e Saying "Yes" always to something else apart from God
Polytheism Idolatry, which is holding other things in the supreme position as you do God, i.e. Saying "Yes" to other things as you also say "Yes" to God. The inability to say "No" to anything else makes those things an idol, even if you keep saying "Yes" to God. This form is the most subtle and pernicious.

In this scholarship Wednesday teaching, we examine the Muratorian Fragment.
The Muratorian fragment is a document that was written in the 2nd century but discovered in the 17th century. It was discovered by the Italian Historian, Father Muratori. However, the authorship of the document is unknown.
In this study, Pastor Sam explains how this document is a great document that adds to the authenticity of the canon of the scriptures and the inerrancy of the scriptures.
