This is the second time I have had the pleasure of interviewing Mia Northrup. Mia was on the podcast back in 2016 ep 13 and we talked about:
Much has changed for Mia since then. In the last five years, Mia has separated from her partner, moved to full time work, started a successful podcast and published a book! This gave us plenty to talk about. Areas we covered in the podcast were:
I recommend having some note paper handy and Mia has so many excellent tips you will want to write them all down!

In episode 76, I have the pleasure of interviewing Amy Armstrong. Amy calls herself a former boozy tragic on a mission to review the best non-alcoholic libations. In June 2020 Amy decided that it was time for her and alcohol to get a divorce. She had tried previously to go alcohol-free without success, but this time it was different. This time her head and her heart were really into saying goodbye to grog for good.
Amy shares honestly about how divorcing from alcohol required a change in mindset. Amy stopped focusing on what she would lose from not drinking alcohol and began focusing on what she would gain.
Throughout the interview, Amy and I discuss:

Lots of tears, frustrations, nerves, negative thinking, 2 steps forward – 10 backward .
How do you “break through” all of that mindset negativity to actually get a few wins in a row so you actually enjoy your new habit? So your new habit is not a chore or a negative experience, so it becomes something you actually look forward to? The reason you started in the first place.
I have certainly felt this and am sure others have too. In the podcast I share:
