We're fall girls through and through. Fire pits, pumpkin carving, covered bridge festivals, and caramel apples.
But this season we're taking notes from the trees. They don't let go because they're dying. They let go of what no longer serves them and root down to prepare for rest. So we're doing the same.
In this episode we play a round of drop it or keep it, from skipping the orchard trips we only did to say we did, to saying goodbye to the cinnamon broom. We share the traditions we'll never give up, our favorite fall memories with our kids and the fall things we're doing just for us. Then we get into simple ways to take the pressure off: a fall bingo card, making holiday decisions now, a release ritual for what you're done carrying, and noticing what your body is telling you to let go of.
If you're an overwhelmed mom heading into the busiest stretch of the year, this is your permission to slow down and bring your color back.
Some things are easier to let go when we're not doing it alone. We are building a community for that. Join the waitlist at thisflockeduplife.com.

Today we're doing closet confessionals. Come open the doors with us. We're getting into what's hanging in there, what's shoved in all of our drawers, and what it says about where we've put ourselves on the list.
The clothes still hanging up for a woman we used to be. The uniform we never actually chose. The dress saved for a special occasion that deserves a regular Tuesday. Then the drawers, which tell on us harder than the closet ever could. Tiers of underwear, the good pair saved for the doctor, nursing bras kept way too long, and why getting measured again matters more than you think, especially in perimenopause.
It's funny until it isn't. Because the stuff nobody sees says a lot about where we put ourselves on the list, and you're worth investing in whether that's a thirty five dollar two pack or a four dollar and fifty cent dress you feel amazing in.
Come confess with us. Then come sit with us.
We're building something we've wanted for a long time. A real community for moms who are done doing this alone. A place to say the thing out loud, get the me too you've been waiting for, and be around women who get it without needing the whole backstory. We're opening the doors soon and the wait list is the only way in.
Head to www.thisflockeduplife.com and drop your name right on the home page. That's it. When the doors open, you'll already be inside.

Today's episode is a vent session. Come vent with us.
We're talking about all the things that make life feel hard right now. The stuff that makes you say, "what the flock is going on"??
You know the season. Nothing is technically wrong, and you still feel off. You're irritated. Everything is harder than it should be. Your patience is about three seconds long. You're questioning your entire life while unloading the dishwasher and you cannot point to one single reason why.
We're getting into the tiny things that make us disproportionately angry, how to tell the difference between overwhelmed and something actually needs to change, and why the sock on the floor was never really about the sock. Plus what to do when your body figures out you're done with something before your brain catches up.
Not every WTF season means something is wrong with you. Sometimes it's just the messy middle between what was working and whatever comes next.
Life is a lot louder when you feel alone. So we're building a room for it.
It's a community we're building over on Skool, and it's where this conversation keeps going after we stop recording. A place to be seen, to share the good and the hard. A flock of like-minded mamas to share life with.

No one likes to start their morning with 147 unread messages, before they even pour their coffee. A four minute voice note that could have been a text. Three school apps, two emails, and one crumpled flyer in the backpack, all saying something slightly different.
If you've ever felt buried in notifications before 8am, this one's for you.
We're talking about communication overload and why it's not you being disorganized, it's you being over-notified. We get into the group chats that drain you, the reply-alls nobody asked for, and the tools we actually use to turn the volume down without dropping the ball.
But underneath all that noise is something real. Every mom wants a connection that fills her up instead of emptying her out. So we're also talking about the moms who get it. The ones you can voice note at midnight and it feels like relief, not another task.
Here's the thing about your flock. You get to pick it. We're building a place for the moms who get it, and we'd love for you to be one of the first ones in the room. Click the link and fill out the form below so we can send you an invite!

You are more than a mom. And somewhere deep down you already know that.
In the final episode of our More Than a Mom mini-series we're turning the focus completely to you. Not to our stories this time. Yours.
Because somewhere between the drop-offs, the to-do lists, the careers, and the caring for everyone else, the woman behind the mom title gets a little lost. And this episode isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering who you already are.
We're talking about identity, why so many moms feel disconnected from themselves, and sharing real tools to help you find your way back. And we're sharing why we're building a community where moms can say the quiet things out loud and remember that none of this was ever meant to be done alone.
So grab your favorite drink, get cozy, and come sit with us one more time.
The woman you've been searching for has been there all along.

Every woman has a story that belongs only to her. Today we're learning Lacey's.
And like most of us, her story includes a version of herself she barely recognized. In Part 2 of our More Than a Mom mini-series she gets honest about where she came from, where she got lost, and how she found her way back.
This one is for every mom who has ever felt like she was living life on autopilot and wondered if there was something more waiting for her on the other side of the busyness.
So grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and come sit with us for this one.

Today we're talking about the women who existed before all of it.
Somewhere along the way most of us stopped answering to our own name. We became mom, wife, teacher, caretaker, and household manager. And slowly, quietly, we disappeared a little with all the things that needed to be done.
This episode is the first in our More Than a Mom mini-series and it starts with Becky's story. The real one. Where she came from, where she got lost, and the moment she felt genuinely called back to herself and to you.
This one is for every mom who has ever looked in the mirror and wondered where she went.

Hot Mom Summer is here… and no, we’re not talking about six-pack abs, expensive vacations, or finally fitting into last year’s swimsuit.
We’re talking about surviving the heat, keeping up with feral kids, carrying enough snacks to feed a small village, and somehow making memories in the middle of the chaos.
Hot Mom Summer really means, letting go of perfection, embracing the sweat, the sunscreen, the questionable tan lines, and giving ourselves permission to enjoy the season we’re in.
Because summer isn’t about looking a certain way. It’s about being present, having fun, and making memories with the people we love.
So grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and come hang out with us.

Mother’s Day can feel beautiful, heartbreaking, exhausting, meaningful, and strangely lonely all at the same time.
In this week’s episode of This Flocked Up Life, Lacey and Becky unpack the emotional “hangover” that can show up after Mother’s Day passes. From unmet expectations and complicated family relationships to football championships, adult children, grief, guilt, estrangement, and the invisible emotional labor moms carry every single day, this conversation gets real fast.
Together, they talk about:
• Why Mother’s Day can feel surprisingly heavy
• The pressure moms put on themselves to make everyone else happy
• What changes when your children become adults
• Complicated relationships with mothers and daughters
• Healing generational wounds while still honoring your story
• Why asking for help matters more than we think
• The truth about feeling unseen in motherhood
This episode is tender, honest, emotional, and deeply validating for any mom who has ever felt overlooked, conflicted, grateful, exhausted, or all of the above at the same time.
Whether your Mother’s Day felt magical, messy, disappointing, beautiful, or somewhere in between, we want you to know this: you are not alone.

Some questions have easy answers. And some will make you question everything you thought you knew about yourself.
In this episode, we are throwing out the serious for a little while and just playing. We are going through a round of Would You Rather and things get funny, a little spicy, and honestly more revealing than we expected.
Because sometimes the silliest questions crack you open in the best way. Would you rather be deeply known by a few or widely liked by many? Would you rather have a hard conversation now or carry it forever? Would you rather your kids found your old journal or your old texts?
We laughed. We debated. We maybe learned a thing or two about each other after all these years of friendship.
This is the episode you put on when you need a break from the heavy. When you just want to hang out, laugh a little, and maybe ask yourself a few questions you have been avoiding.
