We go over the disappointing 1-0 defeat vs Valencia and meet a very special guest as a warm-up for the Europa League match versus Celtic Glasgow with a lifelong Celt supporter and reputed sports blogger and podcaster Kieran Canning (@kierancanning on Twitter) from http://www.SpanishFootball.info (@EspanaFutbol on Twitter) Kieran started writing about Spanish football in 2009 during a year’s study in Pamplona. He joined the spanishfootball.info team for the 2010/11 season. 16 The First One of the Second Season

We could have perfectly well called this "The One we recorded inside Gary's car" because we did a sophisticated 3G connected program Madrid-Holland from inside Gary's car right after Diego Ribas' presentation. We missed the unexciting 0-3 friendly vs Fuenlabrada to have the program recorded but we did have time to comment extensely on the Europa League qualifying round, the first slightly disappointing draw in Liga vs Osasuna, the close of the transfer market and how it had gone for the club as well as other rojiblanco news.

Atletico de Madrid held the presentation of Diego Ribas at the VIP room of the Vicente Calderón stadium. The event was hosted by Gonzalo Miró with the participation of José Luis Pérez Caminero, sports manager and Roberto Simon Marina, 80s midfielder and club lifelong member (youth talent, player, assistant coach various times with Luis Aragonés and currently second coach of Atletico de Madrid B).

This recording is the full presentation event recorded and dubbed to English by Gary Nunn and Ricardo Menéndez.

Atletico de Madrid held the presentation of Radamel Falcao at the VIP room of the Vicente Calderón stadium. The event was hosted by Gonzalo Miró wit the participation of Enrique Cerezo, president of the club, José Luis Pérez Caminero, sports manager and Paulo Futre, legend player who made the move as well from Porto to Atleti 24 years ago.

We asked Fran Mérida for his view on how the dressing room felt after the slightly disappointing 2-1 win over Stromsgodset on the 1st leg of the 3rd qualifying round of Europa League. We also wanted his views on how the dressing room saw the way stands rejected De Gea and Kun's manner of exiting the club. Finally we wanted to know how he faces the new season and whether he held higher hopes to play more often.

New club policy added to audio and editing setbacks have kept us from offering the regular share of post match player and coach views. We expect to correct this in the future.

We asked our Norwegian football expert and good buddie Ole Aasheim, president of the Norwegian Peña to analyze our Europa League opponent Strømsgodset IF.The Norwegian cup champion is a young and unexperienced squad but full of spirit to make things hard for us and live this once in a lifetime European experience to the maximum. Gary and Ricky attended the prematch press conferences the same afternoon Kun was definitely sold to MCFC closing finally the Kun Agüero soap opera that lasted over two months. Forlan is back triumphant from the Copa America willing to carry the weight of the badge on his shoulders and lead the team to the league stage of Europa League.

14 The One when Gary went to LA

Gary is really busy this summer. He decided to pay a visit to the boys at the Los Angeles de San Rafael training facilities. The traditional summer preseason headquarters where the team prepares for the long season ahead. With Ujfalusi and De Gea out of the picture and Kun wanting to bail we ponder on how the situation might unfold and have our first one to one interview with a team player. In this case Juanfran, a real team player and team builder. His constructive spirit can be felt in every training session. We'd like to thank the new people at the press department for be so helpful in getting the interview.
