Our case against the death penalty, reopening Texas, comorbidity, and the one and only Bryan Stevenson.

In this week's episode, we chat: protests, synthesizing, them new Biden ads, Grocery Games, Velocipastor, and of course the Shia LaBeouf.

This week we reflect on hitting the one month mark of quarantine, monopoly money and economies, capitalism in the context of livable wages and risk vs. reward, and why The Wire is still such good television.

In our second episode, still recording from the car and home office, we cover the film Parasite that Anthony finally watched and how everything really is an analogy. Speaking of, Covid-19 is not acting like an equalizer, instead its shining a spotlight on the levels we always knew existed.

In our first episode recorded from the car in a garage and from the office with a puppy, we talk about how people are ignoring shelter in place orders locally and in faith communities, how well (read: disastrously) our online Zoom classes are going, our divergent views of health care in America, living check to check, and of course Tiger King.

Two professors from different disciplines, backgrounds, and world views decide to make a podcast while in quarantine. You know, like everyone else.
