"We cannot force forgiveness on someone else. No amount of shame or guilt will turn their hearts, only God can do that. There is a difference between forgiveness and healing. Allow God's timing in healing. Human sin still leaves human scars. There is a consequence for sinful behavior, and living with a broken relationship could be ours. Forcing a narrative we want, even if it seems like the right thing to do, can do more harm than good. Leave it to the Lord to handle."
