Ry Doon is a hilarious comedian that I met in LA. Ry rose to fame on the Vine platform where he had more than 4 million followers. After years in LA and comedy he found himself unfulfilled. After getting sober Ry decided to pursue becoming a therapist. He has finished the first year of grad school and is well on his way. His dream is to continue comedy and merge comedy and therapy to help comedians.

Danny Brown is one of the top 200 real estate agents in the country. He has 20+ years experience and has sold millions of dollars worth of LA's most prestigious properties. On this episode he answers all of my dumb questions and makes buying property seem easy. Listen for all of the answers they don't want you to know.

Danny's podcast, "The Deal with Danny Brown" was rated as one of the top business podcasts in LA in 2019.

George Perez is one of the funniest and nicest people I know. He has also had a crazy life. He got locked up for the first time in 7th grade, his first kid at 18, and went to prison for 3 years. He is also a world class comedian, business man, and loving father. To find out more you'll have to listen.

Jesus Trejo is one of the best stand up comedians in Los Angeles, and one of the best people I know. On top of being one of the hardest working comics he also is a full time caretake to both of his parents. I can barely get my butt out of bed to go to one open mic and he hits four a night on top of handling every aspect of his parents lives.

Jesus also tells us about his stand up comedy career, working at The Comedy Store, and who's car he damaged while working there!

His story is both interesting and inspiring. Thank you for listening!

Welcome back to What Was I Thinking!

Johnny Mitchell is a stand up comedian and podcaster I met in Los Angeles. Before I met him, Johnny spent the better part of a decade selling marijuana...and he was good at it. At the end of his run he was making $1 Million dollars a year. That is until the Portland PD and DEA came to arrest him. He ended up spending 2 years in Federal Prison. He tells us how he started, what the ups were like, and what it was like in prison.

Enjoy!

Happy March! To celebrate a new month I am very happy to introduce all of you to my good friend Matt P. Brown. Matt and I met in LA doing a comedy/burlesque show. I was doing burlesque and Matt was doing comedy. I had him on to tell you how he started stand up comedy and what tips he had for new and aspiring comedians. Check out Matt's podcast, "I'm Workin' On it" I was a guest in December of 2020.
