Delving into a beautiful whiskey from the north shores of the emerald isle, the lads review Bushmills 21 and pair it with some music with a theme of "home" given half of This Is My Dram (Andy) grew up just down the road from the famous Bushmills distillery.

Merry Christmas to all This Is My Dram listeners! Our Christmas special is (accidentally!) all about Glenfarclas. Andy and Stu bought each other Christmas presents then each had to try their present blind. It turned out that the presents were coincidentally the Glenfarclas 105 and the Glenfarclas 1996 Premium Edition (bottled in 2017).

Other than the lovely Glenfarclas whisky - the lads share some more of their favourite alternative Christmas music, a bit different from the usual selections at this time of year!

Andy and Stu continue the 4th series with a Japanese special of the This Is My Dram podcast, featuring a tasting of the Yamazaki 12 and the much coveted Yamazaki 18, as well as discussion of Stu's recent visit to the Yamazaki distillery just outside of Kyoto.

The lads create a playlist of weird and wonderful music related to the land of the rising sun itself: Japan.

Like pt.1, this episode was recorded at the Whisky Lounge York Whisky Festival, and features a tasting we did of a Glen Moray 1994 sherry cask, single cask single malt Whisky that Sorren Krebs (find his blog here: https://ocdwhisky.wordpress.com) had brought along for a bit of a tasting during the interval at the festival. In this BIG series finale, Andy & Stu are joined by Carl Reavey from the Bruichladdich Distillery for an interview about the distillery itself and the whisky they are reviewing on this episode: the Classic Laddie.

This whisky was a listener suggestion (thanks Daniel Hoper!) and we were challenged to create a playlist of songs related to the whisky by picking songs outside of a bands usually genre (to reflect the unpeated Islay dram... usually associated with heated whiskies). You'll hear songs from Nirvana and The Futureheads amongst others as a result.

This is paired with a some music themed around covers and remixes to reflect how Gordon & MacPhail release different versions of whisky from some classic distilleries.

The lads also try a relegation dram, Fujikai 10yr, an "interesting" dram to say the least! They also have a much more pleasant experience trying some fudge from @iheartwhisky.
