In today’s episode, I am discussing with you about benzodiazepines. I will discuss what they are, what they are used for, how they should be taken, and what to look forward to when you want to come off them. Benzodiazepines are no joke when it comes to coming off these medication’s; I personally know what they are capable of. Now I’m not here to scare anybody from not taking medication that could help them, but I will tell you that benzodiazepines are not meant for long-term use. People are put on a benzodiazepines for years I have seen people that have been on them for 40 years, and coming off these medication‘s is not easy. So if you choose to take a benzodiazepine, please make sure that you know that it’s not a long-term medication you should be on. It’s a short term medication that can help you while you’re looking for something else to help with your mental health issue. I was taken off of Xanax, cold turkey, and for the past two years, I have been struggling with the withdrawals of coming off of Xanax. I do not want to discuss right away with you guys because I prefer to do that in another episode later on on my podcast. As mentioned in my episode, I stated that I will put in the description the number to the addiction hotline for drugs. This hotline will help you get off your medication or if you’re abusing and need to come off it. That number is 1-800-622-4357. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions; please feel free to email me at [email protected]. If you would like to donate to my podcast, you can do so PayPal: @naturepixie81 or CashApp: $NaturePixie. I’ll donations would go towards my podcast and anything needed for my podcast.
