Honolulu police have opened an attempted murder investigation after a woman allegedly threw boiling bleach at her husband at Schofield Barracks. A 32-year-old man has been arrested on charges of kidnapping after police say he assaulted a woman in Kailua yesterday morning. And the Honolulu Police Department is defending why it only made 2 arrests for the illegal aerial fireworks on New Year's Eve after repeated warnings about crackdowns.
