This Is Our Life

After a longer than expected break, we are back with episode 16, looking at Reality TV.
We fondly recall the shows we have watched over the years, as well as a few one-hit wonders, and the shows that took ordinary people and turned them into stars.
We also have another amazing guest, Dr Now, from the hit TV show My 600lb Life,  somebody we thought was a friend…

There are a few Naughty words in this podcast so apologies now if you are easily offended.

Thanks for bearing with us, and we look forward to more great content in the coming weeks!

This week we look back at the most iconic compilation album released in our lifetime: Now That’s What I Call Music, which has spawned 108 albums since 1983, from Phil Collins to Dua Lipa, plus many weird and wonderful spin-offs! Some good some bad, however everyone has their favourite or can remember their first Now album... be it on vinyl, cassette, CD or digital download... which was yours???!

This week we fondly look back at the sporting moments that made us! From Eddie the Eagle and Italia 90, to the FA cup upsets featuring our own favourite teams Bradford City and Leeds United. We also have another special guest joining us in the studio! (Socially distanced of course)
Sit back and enjoy, as we take a trip down Sporting Memory Lane!

This week we look back at our favourite TV Quiz shows over the years!

From the staples of Saturday night, to the more obscure daytime offerings (Keynotes anyone???), we discuss our favourite presenters, catchphrases, rounds, hilarious answers and even the theme tunes!

If you’re ready, best of luck, no conferring... time to get your fingers on buzzers!

This week we look back at our 12th and 13th years of life, and visit 1991.

It was a year that saw the Gulf war break out, the Birmingham 6 were freed, and Arsenal were the top of the pile, winning the Title in Englands top division.

We also look back at the T.V and films of the year, and speak to a real life movie Icon and recall his greatest success.

Enjoy!

This week we are paying tribute to one of the most iconic tv shows of our generation, as we take a nostalgic look back at the Gladiators !!

We try to recall our fave events, and the things that made it compelling viewing, plus in one of the biggest coups of the series we talk to the legendary referee John Anderson !!  Awoooooga !!!

This week chat to Actor, writer, Stand up comedian and all round top comedy legend Alex Lowe.  Alex is perhaps best known as Barry from Watford, and the hapless Psychic Clinton Baptiste, but has appeared in various Films, and extensive television shows.

We talk  about the start of his career, right through to his recent shows and the characters he is best known for.

He tells us about being chased out of one show by an angry audience member, and gives an insight into what it was like being part of the hilarious phoenix Nights live at the Manchester Arena, and we also get some insights as to what we can expect from series 4 of Clintons Paranormal podcast!!

This week we take a look back at our various firsts, from school days to relationships,  which may lead to some stories that may or may not be exaggerated for comedic purposes...

This week, we have been asked to look back at the cartoons we loved from the 80s, some random choices, but some we also forgot about !   From Willy Fog, to Willow the Wisp... they are all here!

This week we look at the year 2000, the year that the Y2K bug worried us all sick, Craig David had a busy week, and England finally beat Germany in a major football tournament.
