This Is Temporary

Meet Marvin Laviolette (ig: @haitianmarvofficial): a very hardworking actor and activist for liberation, equality and justice in step with the Black Lives Matter movement and other groups advocating change. Follow Marvin's nonprofit organization "What Can I Do?" @wcid2020 on IG to learn more about how to get involved with the peaceful action he is helping lead in this revolution. In this episode, Marvin opens up about his newfound activism and the trauma he has experienced by simply being a Black man in our white supremacist nation. We also discussed his transformation through self care and self discovery that have led him to change his perspectives and become a more resilient, focused and balanced version of himself. Thank you again Marvin for your vulnerability, inspiration and insight!

Meet Cory Scott Allen (ig: @coryscottallen): a fabulous actor, a really good friend and often times a lifeline for me. In this episode, Cory and I dive deeper into the details of living with bipolar depression, suicidal ideation and the rare hypomania. It's a powerful thing to have a buddy system with someone who personally understands what you're going through. I'm really grateful Cory and I have been that for each other.

In this episode I got to chat with my soul sister, Madison Bailey (ig: @madisonbaileybabe), from Netflix's Outerbanks in her comfy, cute LA apartment. Maddie opened up some more with me about her BPD (Borderline personality disorder) diagnosis and what helps her navigate her colorful, emotional experiences with it!
