    How to Share your Faith! Ch. 1. Before we can venture into the "how," we need to ask one key and essential question: who and what do people see in you? When you share about the Lord to someone, what is that person seeing in you? Your character? Your Fruit? Your personality? Your friendliness? Your love? Your care? Or? A principle fact we must know before we venture out into evangelizing is this-when you ask someone, "would you like to be a Christian?" you are, in fact, saying, "would you like to be like me?" Are you a good "me"? Are you a person others should strive to be like? Be honest! What You Will Hear Scriptures addressed We are helping people come to Christ but they do not know Christ yet; all they know is you and other Christians! What are people seeing in you? We must be careful how we plant His seed in our daily actions, words, and deeds, and how we tell someone about the Lord. Make sure that your life is focused on Christ before you tell others to do so! The main thing is that our personal prayer and devotional life must be growing and active. We will not be perfect, (I know I am not) and God will still use us and our frailties.     What do I do when I am overwhelmed? Pastor Waid helps us find the answer to this question through the application of faith. Ask God for help; for He is able! Trust in His control! He is the God who can keep us walking above the waves, and keep us alive and going when we are under them! Go through His Word, seek what you are to learn, how you can get through, and for wisdom. If we do not learn, all those "waves" will just be a waste as they splash us into worry, anxiety, anger, and bitterness, and we may keep going through them until we do learn. What You Will Hear Being in a constant conversation with God through prayer. Real prayer means going to God in all times, good and bad Tips on how to read through the bible Do not escalate your situation by complaining, or distort it by denial, bitterness, or isolation! Do not be dumb, trapped in your own anger and regret. Do not blame others. Resistance to God, bad attitudes, and anger only cause us more harm when we choose to be tossed by the seas of life without hope or purpose. Let Jesus be your anchor. Relationship with God is not without its fears and distresses, as with any relationship. Being angry is OK as long as we do not sin or curse God in it. It is easy to step out in faith when we can see, but in a storm, we usually cannot see….His plan is best, even when we do not see it The Lord is our righteousness.
