On 26 April 2021, Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture, attended the Informal videoconference of Ministers for Agriculture - Meeting n°VTC-AGRIFISH-260421 chaired by Maria do Céu Antunes, Portuguese Minister for Agriculture. The meeting started with a presentation by the European Commission on the evaluation of the EU strategy on animal welfare and an information point by the German delegation on the labelling of foodstuffs containing eggs. Ministers then focused on the CAP reform package with an exchange of views on the current state of play of the inter-institutional negotiations. They also heard from the Commission on the market situation of the agricultural sector and held an exchange of views on the issue.
