There are some today that God is saying to you as Jesus said to the paralyzed man, your sins are forgiven, so get up and walk. Get up and move. Get up and go forth  from that same position that you’ve been stuck in for far too long. Get up with your praise and worship to the Father!

 There are far too many in the body of Christ who are ready to blame every little negative thing that happens to them either on God as a chastisement or an attack of the enemy,  meaning Satan. Christians are so ready to look at issues and problems, especially in other people's lives and immediately credit it to one of those two things, and oftentimes it’s neither. Sometimes things just happen. Even the terrible things that occur is not always an attack or God. Again, sometimes things just happen! I may be about to destroy some illusions but so be it. Listening to gospel and Christian music or some Christian show on the way to work, while mowing the lawn or some other chore does not take the place of prayer and devotion. Watching TBN, CBN or any other Christian programs does not take the place of seeking the face of God. It’s okay to listen to these things if that’s what you like, but far too many believe that this is the same as prayer and devotion and it’s not. We have been trained for battle just like the men in I Chronicles 5. Yet, as trained, skilled and able bodied as they were, the word says that they were helped in fighting their enemy. God didn’t leave them to fight by themselves and He doesn’t leave us either. The word says that God didn’t just deliver their enemy into their hands but even those who helped their enemy. God didn't just help them because they were Israelites or because of any sacrifices they might have made. It wasn’t because they had such great battle plans or even great numbers of men. It was not only because they cried out to God, but it was how they cried out to Him. Find out what makes the difference to God when you cry. There's a purpose and a reason for your tears so don't deny yourself a good cry when you need one. Yet, there's a difference between when some cry out to the Father and others. This week's title is "Are We Due An Apology?" I must pose the question, are we, those of us who have left our interracial churches under our white pastors and leadership, and even those who have remained in these churches, are we owed or due an apology? But some would query, why should anyone apologize to us when we were the ones to make the decisions to leave? Well, first of all because most of us left because of offense. But please understand, we were not just slightly offended but literally insulted and injured beyond just mere anger to the degree of being hurt and wounded through racism without concern or comment from our white pastors and leadership. How can pastors, preachers, teachers, prophets and leaders insinuate that they're hearing God's voice and doing what He wants done without ever saying that they've prayed or sought His face? It's because they have no fear of Hm! We must learn to fear God. When Caesar asked the people who they wanted released, Jesus or Barabbas, it was the priests, the leaders of the synagogues, the spiritual leaders of the Jews, those who taught and encouraged them in their services to God who incited them to demand that Barabbas be released. And who was Barabbas? According to Matthew 15:7 it reads A man called Barabbas was in prison with the insurrectionists who had committed murder in the uprising. You just can’t make this stuff up! To put it bluntly and truthfully, white Christian Nationalist and far right white evangelical Christians chose a Barabbas. Not only did they choose him, they then encouraged and even demanded that their members do the same. The priests, pastors and Christian leaders of this time impelled the people to demand an insurrectionist.
