In the season 5 premiere of This Is Us, we are given a two hour premiere of “Forty: Part One” and “Forty: Part Two" or episodes 501 and 502. We pick up with Kevin and Randall being estranged and the two being apart on what is the Big Three’s 40th birthday. We revisit Jack and Rebecca’s big day at the hospital in the past. Kevin and Madison plan for the future while all the Pearsons tackle the current days events of the 2020 pandemic as well as the racial reckoning in the United States.
