Although sports are on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, the NCAA is making strides to help solidify new rules around paying student athletes. The NCAA Board of Governors has announced that it supports rule changes that would allow student athlete compensation for third party endorsements and promotions related to and separate from athletics. The stage for this progress was set by California SB206, the Fair Pay For Play Act. California State Assemblyman Steve Bradford is one of the sponsors of this bill and he joins us to talk about it on This Lady Loves Sports.
