TEACH YOUR KIDS BODILY AUTONOMY.  If grandma wants a hug but your child isn't comfortable, allow your child to say "No".  The word 'no' is one of my favourite words in every single language.  It's empowering.

-Kids deserve to learn bodily autonomy at the very start, so they know they have that power.  I feel like if I had learned that saying "No" didn't have to be a bad thing, then I wouldn't be suffering the consequences of the actions of shitty people.

-If your brother, mother, best friend, or literally anyone else touches your kid: DON'T KEEP IT A SECRET. Call the person out.  Report it.  They shouldn't be touching anyone, much less, a child!!  Staying silent about it is damaging and makes you an accomplice for the abuse.  Staying silent normalizes this abuse and it's disgusting.  Families disown the openly gay person but keeps the family pedophile a secret.  Does that not seem backwards to people?!?!  My birth mother chose her brother over me, and he molested me for years.  Choose your kids first.  If your family member is sick like my birth mother's brother, then that relationship should be null and void.  It isn't that hard.
