This Song Sucks

Guest host Blaine Duncan joins Josh and Hayden to talk about "The Good Stuff" by Kenny Chesney. We learn about the business of country music songwriting in the first half, which goes a long way in explaining how a song this mediocre gets recorded.

Josh hates the production quality of the song, Hayden demonstrates how easy it is to write a pop-country hit, and Blaine puts the boys in stitches as he tears into the lyrics and explains why you shouldn't trust a bartender that serves you a glass of milk.

Josh and Hayden are once again joined by guest host Adam Morrow to discuss the one-hit wonder "Are You Jimmy Ray?" The boys take on the tough questions: "What are Jimmy's favorite burger toppings?", "Who is Slim Ray?", and or course, "Who wants to know?"

We learn that Adam doesn't like lyrics that tell him what to do, Hayden's biggest problem might be an oversized belt buckle, and Josh is convinced that ol' Jimmy may not actually know how to play that fancy guitar he's carrying around in the music video.

Josh and Hayden are joined by guest host Adam Morrow as they swim across the Atlantic to wade in the mediocrity that is Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud". Did he steal this song? Probably. Will the courts see it that way? Unfortunately, most likely not.

Josh has a problem with how beige the music is, Adam comments on the blatantly commercial packaging, and Hayden relives the light trauma of having to listen to this song over and over again as part of his job.
