In this episode, Jake shares some of the most advanced and powerful strategies to make sales on Instagram using Stories. 

The power of the Story is that you're able to move the emotions and take your audience on a journey (a journey which you guide them through) and solve the one big problem that they have at the moment. 

This 6 step plan is something Jake has used consistently with his own account and also teaches with his successful clients - who have taken this strategy and generated thousands of dollars in sales from their own Instagram accounts. 

Here's the 6 steps to start generating sales directly on Instagram:

1. Ask a question - Stop your viewer in  their tracks and zero in on the specific challenge they have right now.

2. Engage your audience - Use a quiz or slider to engage your viewer.

3. Teaching & add value - give the a specific solution to the problem your audience is having. 

4. Further the teaching and reinforce this with a success story/testimonial

5. Engage your audience again - Ask a question, use the slider.

6. Give a clear call to action - be specific on exactly what you want them to do, so they're clear on exactly how they can move forward.

1 - Poll: Yes / No - keep simple, best used as a tool to engage your audience. 

2 - Questions: "Ask me anything" - "Whats the number one thing you'd like to know about X"

3 - Swipe Up: 10K followers - Direct to website, online store, opt-in page etc. Best used after telling a story or giving incomplete info.

4 - Gifs: Lighten the mood - brighten up your stories and show your personality.

5 - Location: Increase your visibility, attract businesses nearby (as an influencer) or as business owner attract clients/customers near by too. Local biz great target is to dominate posts in your local area. Zero in more focused if needed.

6 - Hashtags: 11 in stories, invisible hashtag trick. 2 ways to add tags. 

7 - @Mention other accounts appears in their DM - they can then add to their own story- very powerful to increase you own exposure. Great for books you are reading, training, courses, biz, restaurants etc.

In this episode, Jake discusses how to use "Call to Action" to get more likes, more comments and ultimately more followers on your Instagram account - every time you post.

No matter if you post 3 times a day, twice a week or only once a month (if it's this infrequent, we need a conversation) - you want to make sure each post has maximum impact so you can get more engagement every time you post. 

Let's look at all 6 of the calls to action you can get started with straight away...

Here’s a few highlights that we cover in this episode:

1 - "Like and comment below..." - Most simple and easy to implement. Also ask for a double tap.

2 - "Follow [Name of Account]" - Add YOUR account, to give yourself the chance to capture more followers - especially from those who aren't yet following you. 

3. "Tag someone who..." - Tag someone who needs to see this. 

4. "Write your name/word below" - Example, type the word "SUCCESS" in the comments below. Works for writing a favourite / recommendation.

5. "Tag your...best friend, exercise partner, gym buddy, soulmate, coach" - great to get your followers to introduce even more people to your account. Nothing works better than a recommendation from a friend. 

6. "Click link in the bio." Harder to get people to take action. But sends people to the "bigger picture" - your online store, opt-in page, YouTube channel etc.
