Firstly, Cleveland is finally changing their team name to something that isn't racist, but waiting until at least 2022 to do so, so enjoy 2021, racist team name! Our choice for the new name is the Cleveland Zoidbergs if you couldn't tell from the title. Secondly, the Negro Leagues have been retroactively promoted to official Major League status, making their players, records and history all equivalent to those of the American and National Leagues. Of course this doesn't right the past wrongs of racism, but it does help legitimize the league's history.Of course, with all the news, we spent most of the episode talking about Star Wars.
