  • #14 - Toronto Schools walk out in protest to education changes #StudentsSayNo, kid locked in storage closet at school
This past week, Toronto schools have been walking out of their schools in protest to education changes made by Doug Ford and the Ontario Government, Terry and I talk about why the protest doesn't make any sense, a kid was locked in a storage closet at an elementary school, the kids should be protesting against this LOL. A guy confronts dog owners being off their leash illegally in a park when there is no one else around, I guess he feels he needs to stand up for such an atrocious crime being committed. And cops stun a suicidal man in a Toronto Library after wielding a knife. Thanks for listening! (We reviewed the week of Apr. 1 - Apr. 7, 2019)

  • #13 - El Chapo smuggles drugs into Toronto, TTC subway rider clips toenails
Out wit the old and and in comes the new logo for "This Week in Toronto" podcast! We think it looks dope, and hope you do too! This week we're talking about El Chapo paying $150,000 to a truck driver to smuggle drugs from the U.S. and into Toronto, a TTC bus struck and killed a 60 yr old woman. Two kids assaulted a teacher after not letting them leave the classroom, and a subway rider was videotaped clipping their toenails, can the TTC and Toronto get any more weirder lol? And we also talk about the city of Brampton (that is in the Toronto area) taking L's everyday so much that we hope our bursts of laughter doesn't hurt your ears lol. Thank you for listening (We reviewed the week of Mar. 25 - Mar. 31, 2019)

  • #12 - TTC Bus crashes into multiple houses, Loaded gun found in baby's handcrib
Terry's internet is back up but not without some issues before we started, and I literally woke up an hour before the podcast, sleep schedule is fucked because of work, someone help us lol. This week we're back talk about a TTC bus crashing into multiple homes, isn't Canada's #1 transit just lovely? An amber alert was sent out by a mother for a missing girl, claiming the father had abducted her, turns out it was a false alarm and the girl was fine, cruel people like this should be in jail. A loaded gun was found in a baby's crib, whoever was babysitting the kid should be banned from babysitting. And LCBO says that $77M was stolen in one year, YIKES! • #11 - MAGA Hat wearing teen disrupts vigil held for New Zealand shooting, Near Fatal plane crash on highway
This past week was so uneventful, my internet went down for a few days, then on sunday, terry's internet goes down as well, just before recording the podcast. So unfortunately this week is a SOLO show, Terry will be back next Monday and his internet should be fine. Hey Bell Canada umm.....FIX YOUR SHIT!!!! Anyways this past week in the greatest city in the world, I talk about the long time homeless spot under the gardiner expressway finally being removed by the city and why this probably won't solve anything. TTC was ranked the best city in Canada for public transit, this has to be a joke right? A near fatal plane crash on highway 404, turns into just a scrape on the road and the people who were in it, reminds me of those russian dash cam compilations back in the day . And a MAGA Hat wearing teen disrupts a vigil held for the victims of the New Zealand shooting, in any other political instance this would be fine, but how can one be so insensitive to a situation where the shooter likened to Donald Trump (I reviewed the week of Mar. 11 - Mar. 18, 2019) P.S. for the people on spotify, I forgot to mention on the pod, I dont know why the 10th episode wasn't uploaded to their feed, I reached out top spoitfy to add it, bu it seems unlike evey other podcast service, they don;t know how to add it to their feed after a mistake, unfortunately you will have to listen to the 10th episode on another service, hopefully the 11th is added as you're reading this lol, super sorry for that)
**I accidentally muted the desktop audio while playing the MAGA york university video, my bad, here is the link: https://twitter.com/raneemayoub/status/1107832052957609984?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1107832052957609984&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.narcity.com%2Fca%2Fon%2Ftoronto%2Fnews%2Fyork-u-student-wearing-maga-hat-causes-disruption-at-new-zealand-massacre-vigil-video

  • #10 - Huge Gender pay gap not the case in Toronto, Man disappears, after posing as an Uber driver sexually assaulting a woman
Our 10th episode! Time flies by like like a call of duty match in search and destroy. This week, Terry and I talk about our local CityNews station interviewing women about gender pay gap because of a report conducted by the "Canadian policy for alternatives" that says Toronto is one of the worst cities for working women, if you spend a few minutes researching and do some multi layered analysis, you will find that is simply not the case. More global warnings from Environment Canada were saying last week and this upcoming week might cause serious harm to peoples throats, how many times since the early 2000's has Toronto issued extreme air pollution and nothing serious has come of it *sigh*. A man is facing 100 gun and drug charges after cops seized 16 guns and $400k in heroin, this dude must of thought he was El Chapo or preparing for a war. And a man who was in custody of posing as an uber driver and sexually assaulting a female has disappeared after posting bail. Thanks for listening! (We reviewed the week of Mar. 4th - Mar. 10, 2019)  P.S* We want to do a Q&A segment at the end of every podcast, if you want to submit a question for next week show or in future episodes, just hit me up on my socials below! • #9 - 13 year old, joy riding, causing near fatal accident, TTC employees failed drug tests
This has to be one of the most scuffed podcasts ever. Right off the bat, 10 seconds in, there is already a connection drop that makes the intro sound awkward AF lol, discord decides to mute my mic on Terry's end here and there and Terry's Chinese phone-book WiFi makes it sound like he is muting himself after every sentences sometimes, but our smooth transitions make up for it, and make it that much more entertaining. Anyways, this week we talk about a report suggesting Ontario schools not doing enough to prepare students for jobs and adulthood, I speak on how my high school didn't care about me improving as a student, and Terry talks about his own experiences transitioning from high school to George Brown College. A 13 year old was joyriding and crashed onto the QEW, and now his friend has life threatening injuries, add this to the list as to why I'll probably never drive....a four year old girl was locked out of her school, and walked all the way home because the substitute teacher was unfamiliar with the child, Terry and I give our funny stories on our substitute teachers in class. And the TTC released a report showing in 2018 some employees refused or failed a drug test, among the failed ones were, Cocaine, Meth, Weed, and Opioids. Thanks for listening! • #8 - Toronto Transit Commission loses $64M to fare evasion, Dad of Amber Alert tragedy dies, Drug bust gone wrong
For this week's pod this episode is a SOLO show, Terry and I recorded the podcast the day before, and in the middle of it, my power went out, thus deleting an entertaining pod. Terry was busy tonight, so I decided to just do it solo as I did not want to delay the pod a few days later and definitely don't want to miss a week. Anyways, this week a Toronto auditor reported a $64M loss in revenue from fare evasion. As I dug deeper, this was the least of the of the TTC's worries as they have been operating at a loss for a number of years, and the numbers are quite staggering. An update on the amber alert tragedy involving the dad who killed his own daughter, died in hospital due to his self infliction, I speak on why I was happy to hear that news. And another drug bust in toronto has one man captive while the other two are still at large, and I talk about why drugs should be legalized. Thanks for listening! • #7 - Amber Alert abducted child ends in tragedy, food delivery man gets stabbed for chicken wings
The stories this week are disturbing to say the least, an amber alert was sent out for an 11 year old girl who was abducted by her father that ended in tragedy, and I go off about the man y people were upset and complaining about being woken up, seriously?! A food delivery person was stabbed by two teenagers for some chicken wings, are people that poor and desperate? The woman who went viral throwing her chair off the condo balcony has been charged and faces sentencing, and a man has finally been caught and charged in three cold case homicides dating back to 1995, why did it take forever?

  • #6 - Woman throws chair off condo, serial killer Bruce McArthur gets life in prison, Ontario Gov. overhauls autism program to eliminate wait list
This week hasn't been good to us, I caught the flu and Terry's WiFi was laggy, thus postponing the episode two days later, we try to get through this pod as best we can, Lord help us. Anyway this week we talk about the viral video of a woman who threw a chair off the gardiner expressway, ontario is getting rid of the wait time for kids with autism, and I talk about my own experience with my learning disability and my appointments, serial killer Bruce McArthur gets life in prison, why I think the death penalty should be brought back, and the officer who interviewed him says that he is a scapegoat in all of this. And a man held two women against their will.
