CJ Ziegler appeared twice on THIS WEEK IN WAUKESHA – the radio show – when he was a member of the 2-time state champion Waukesha South e-Sports team. A 2024 graduate of South, CJ delayed college to pursue an exciting opportunity as a photojournalist for FOX6 Milwaukee. He also enjoys storm chasing and has plans for another storm chasing expedition this summer before he starts classes at Waukesha County Technical College in the fall.

Jim currently is the host of “Amicus: A Law Review”, a Civic Media show on Saturday morning’s that focuses on different political topics through a legal perspective.

Stephanie Fidlin is a registered nurse and certified emergency nurse with over 14 years experience and is running for a seat on the Waukesha School Board. She is the proud parent of 3 students in the School District of Waukesha, and a former PTO co-president and has been active in the PTO for the past 9 years. Stephanie is also a part of the Discover SDW which engages community members to highlight the work being done to support students’ success. Stephanie is running to effectively address the politicization of our schools, and declining enrollments, as well as partnering with parents and families for more transparent communication.
Samuel D’Amico is a candidate for the Waukesha School board that is a 2024 graduate of Waukesha South High School who is the only candidate who has attended Waukesha schools in the last 2 decades. He believes that this firsthand experience gives him a unique understanding of classroom management, insights into our curriculum, support systems and learning tools from a student’s perspective, as well as an in-depth knowledge of our community.
Angelique Byrne is a candidate for the Waukesha School board and is an educator with over 20 years of experience in multiple learning environments, including alternate education and personalized learning. She is skilled in problem solving, networking, interdisciplinary education, art education, secondary education, curriculum design, personalized learning, and strong tier 1 and 2 instruction facilitator. She is a graduate of Carroll University and has 2 children in Waukesha STEM.
Deanna Troust is an award-winning communications strategist and educator whose career includes 30 years in social change communications, with over a decade in leadership at Vanguard Communications, plus several years in marketing and advertising for Fortune 500 companies.
She co-founded Truth in Common in 2017 in after the term “fake news” had entered U.S. discourse. She found that a politically diverse group could find common ground on the issue — especially when shown how information is being manipulated in digital spaces today.
