Trash piles on the streets, violent vagrants defecting, urinating and shooting up drugs on the streets, horrible traffic, criminals let loose early because of corruption and drug dealers are welcome to stay and do business. Now guess which fits the description, Manila or California?

Would you want to know the truth if the truth will make your life harder?    Maybe that is why ignorance is bliss, because truth takes effort.   So is it more about not knowing the truth or is it our preference to being comfortable that keeps us ignorant?

Do you believe in destiny?  How much control do we really have in our lives?  It has been proven that our minds does affect matter and how we think affects the events in our lives.  So which is it.  Is our fate already sealed no matter what choices we make?

The first installment of episodes dedicated to the age old philosophies inserted in the movie "The Matrix" Doesn’t everyone seek for a savior?   In every movie, every story, and even in every religion, there is always a search for "the one."   A messiah that will awaken the people,  that will come back to judge the living and the dead and bring justice to the faithful and punishment to the wicked. So have you found your Savior?

Never give up!  Don't quit!

But what if we are forcing the matter and that there is an easier way to get to our goal?

What if the goal isn't really for us and that we would be better off changing the goal?

So are you a quitter or simply smart?

Who among us do we think is worthy to live luxuriously?  Should a person with a noble vocation be poor?  Are we even in a position to judge? Maybe it is more of envy than social justice that we criticize these people who have found a way to live well.  If it weren't the case, then why don't we pay the people to whom we actually depend on, more than we do now?

I got pulled over twice on our way to Texas but the experience was surprisingly pleasant.  You could say it had a hint of southern hospitality.

I hope everyone had a good memorial day weekend.

To the men and women who chose to serve and protect this country from foreign and domestic threats, we salute you!  This country is only free because of brave people like you.  Thank you!
