Dean welcomes Rachel Quarnberg, the busy proprietor of what has become a booming to bursting mid-sized commercial concern around here. Rachel lays out some of the wherefores of starting and cultivating a business, as well as some of the personal strains and satisfactions that come from trying to do and have it all. And more or less succeeding!

BYU Radio station manager Don Shelline shares stories about a lifetime working in that most warm and sociable of media, radio. He also guides Dean through some current big changes, as traditional broadcast moves into digital realms.

Well, not really, but Christopher Taylor is a BYU Heritage scholarship recipient who joins Dean to talk about the centripetal and the centrifugal, about growing up and going out, and about how this program ought to have some young people on once in a while!

Kirt Saville, Director of BYU's School of Music, pushes past modernity's customary consuming to lay out the how's and the why's and the joys of actually making music. We often don't. We really should. We easily could!

Emily Hess-Flinders, a media scholar and active digital autobiographer, joins the program to discuss the origins and evolutions of the so-called "mommy blog." It is that, and there is that, and there's so much more!

Dean finally covers a topic he actually knows something about, as he welcomes the similarly superannuated Tom Russell, from BYU's film program. Predictably, they discuss impotence, irrelevance, obsolescence and other such inevitabilities. Not a pretty picture! And yet you, or a loved one, may someday pass this way...
