Joining me today is an incedible Drummer who has pushed the boundaries of his instrument to a whole different level, Multi-Instrumentalist, Composer, Educator and Producer Thomas Lang
Thomas has had a remarkable career as a drummer since picking up his first pair of drum sticks in his native Vienna, Austria.
his first big break was playing with his fellow countryman Falco on the mega hit Rock Me Amadeus! since then he has palyed with some of the biggest names in music including Peter Gabriel, Glenn Hughes, Steve Hackett, PAUL GILBERT and many more!
Join Thomas and myself as we talk about his recent incredible performance alongside the fabulous percussiont Pete Lockett at thePercussive Arts Society Covention. Thomas talks about the preperation that went into this well in advance of the performance and how he and Pete didnt actually manage to play together on instruments! Just on pillows in a hotel room for a short while before the performance!
Thomas also shows us around his incredible facility, where he can give high quality remote lessons, record, compose, hold drumming bootcamps and pretty much anything else drum related!
